  • @wolfangle, yeah not just on ur own where ya, u fuckin prick what bout japs,Italians! U started the war we fuckin finished it lol!!!

  • Never heard such crap in all my life even now certain people are mis guided and mis in formed it's about time u faced up to the truth. If u hadnt of invaded Poland we wouldn't of come over and kick ur ass. Listen to Neville chambelins speech in1939 and hear the real truth!! Prick!

  • Britain vs Germany is a perversion. We are of the same heritage. Also: It was NOT Britain vs Germany it was Britain plus RUSSIA plus USA vs Germany.

  • @wolfgangle * Allied: Britain, France, China, US, Soviet Union (Russia, Ukraine, etc), Canada, Australia, New Zealand. * Axis: Germany, Italy, Japan.

  • @wolfgangle Depends what dates you are talking about. In the early going the Soviets were not only not attacking Germany, but were actually supplying them. Hitler attacked the USSR finally because he saw knocking out the Soviets as a way of compelling Britain to sue for peace, since the Blitz failed to cow the British and the Luftwaffe failed to establish the air supremacy over southern England that would have enabled them to land troops and conquer.

  • Don't get me wrong. As a german I'm really grateful that the Brits and their allies rescued us from fucking Hitler, but it's an historic fact, that the germans tried their best to make a non-aggression pact with Britain, but then Britain suddenly declared war on germany.

  • @Lintflas

It is tragic that U.K-Germany went to war, especially after our history of been close (Napoleonic Wars, etc) but like WW1 Britain had agreed to pacts with countries and felt obliged to honour them.

Most people with any sense know that it was not the people but the leaders and we cannot control that.

  • thank God for British allied..

  • Elberiver11 is an American neo-Nazi called Peter Aikman. He is trying to re-write history in order to whitewash Germany's war crimes.

  • How Elberiver11 did we start the war?

I thought it was The German Nazis who invaded Poland?

  • Don't worry about his version of history. It's a hoot.

  • "Why was Britain not helping the German families, who had been placed under Polish terror?"

But of course it did, Poland was made to accept the "small versaillese" and to grant Germans minority rights, such a "terror".

Nobody`s murdering kids in Iraq, well maybe except of terrorists and thier traps...

  • because "polish terror" conists of not eating pork and hating german tyrants. the nazis were the vilians not us

  • The German-Polish conflict was clearly created by Britain in 1919, in order to have a pretext to destroy Germany. Germany was bigger in manufacturing and trade, the British couldn't stand that, thats why they vented their jealousy on innocent children and mothers in Dresden and Hamburg and slaughtered them.

Britain placed 2.0 million Germans under Polish terror. Westprussia was German land, occupied by the Polish terrorists. To think that the English helped them!

  • The British started the world war, and they lie about it.

  • Soft idiot of a prime minister, pretty similar as today!

  • another armchair historian!

Chamberlain was of a generation of Britons that lived through the great war (15 MILLION DEAD)

we come from a generation of Britons whose last real war - the falklands - came at a cost of ( LESS THAN 1,000 DEAD)

And yet you have the audacity to cast aspersions, WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT, against a man seeking desperately to avert yet another MASSACRE OF MILLIONS OF HUMAN LIVES - which sadly came to pass not because of the idiocy of Chamberlain but of Hitler!

  • @PBSmithy thats a slightly biased argument as you put total losses for WW1 and only british losses for the fallands war.

  • @ampthilluk

British losses in Falklands = 250. Argentinian losses in Falklands = 650. Total losses = 900 i.e. "less than 1,000 dead".

Forget the Falklands. Only a few months ago I recall that 4 British Soldiers died in a 24-hour period in Afghanistan. Everybody went apeshit. Endless discussion in the papers, on the t.v., radio etc. about the ""Bloody cost of the war in the middle-east"".

No bias here, only the facts! You've no idea what a real war is mate!

  • @PBSmithy oh sorry i thought you just meant british losses.

  • @ampthilluk

    No worries!

It's one of those things that's always bugged me about the general discourse concerning the run-up to WWII. Nobody who isn't of his generation has the right to judge him. I think it highly improbable that Chamberlain realised he was dealing with a man who would go on to be considered one of the most evil men in history.

Today people are crying out for peace, but more lives were lost in 24 hours of WWI, than in 11 years in A-stan.

  • @PBSmithy yes i agree, and we should never forget the terrible tragedies such as the somme where 16,000 british soldiers died in one day.

  • Thanks for this.

  • thanx fr this vid

  • amazing...imagine that millions of people were listing to this....

  • I find this subject interesting. I'm learing this at school as well. We are watching a video about the children who had to evacuate to the countryside during World War 2 and their experiences during the time.

  • what video did u watch and wha school u go to cuz were doing the same?

  • I never realized how much i loved history until i picked it as my first option on Friday lol, it's just so interesting, and i thought it linked quite well with RE, i'm looking forward to starting it. I can't help but imagine at times like these how scared citizens would be, just hearing that a war was declared, it's really weird :/

  • Chamberlain's my last name and I know it's common English last name, but I can't help but wonder if my family has a connection with Neville Chamberlain.

  • The family were from Birmingham if that helps!

  • Thank you.

  • lol my last name is wilson, I wonder if my family has a conection to woodrow Wilson
