We did our Spirit Song Series this Celebration (2010) and learned about 12 more songs, it was hard work, but we LOVED every moment of it! Thanks goes out to Collette's Cupboard for their AMAZING donations! As well as Hoonah Trading!
Two years have passed, and we are coming up on another Celebration. I watch this video from time to time, and it just give me goosebumps, I know it might seem like gloating, but I never gloat, I'm just proud of MYSELF, I never use to be able to listen to my own voice, but this entrance song we use Highlights the Lead Drummer, that being me; so there is no getting around being humble and taking pride in what I, and our Dance Group does. Goonalcheesh!
The little boy in front with the head dress is my Nephew Tyrell Cromer, he made the front page of the Chicago Tribune, Fairbanks Chronicle, and Anchorage Daily News! I'd type more, but man I cry every time I see him dance, he is self taught, we dressed him up and he got up on his own and danced.
No apologies neccessary, in all honesty; I did tell the rest of our dance group about this video and EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM WAS EXCITED! So again, Goonalcheesh!!! It is GREATLY appreciated!
Fairweather, I am the loudmouth you can hear singing the opening line "Haan Daayi Waak, Anak Guna Dei Shawaa!!" I appreciate the posting of this video, as I was unable to get a copy for myself, Goonalcheesh! StuWooKaa
Well we really really enjoyed your performance, and I'm sorry I didn't obtain your permission before posting this. However, I thought it'd be a great opportunity to share our culture with the world.

Absolutely powerful.
You can be guaranteed that there have been "far more views" around the world of the Mt. Fairweather Dancers that what Utube is projecting. Old trick.
Very powerful indeed.
