the first attempt is the hardest, as you get it on farm its cake after a while, you just get the hang of it.

My guild pretty much has this guy on farm and it's pretty easy once you get the hang of running out when the fire is commin at you. Also it's much easier when u have a shaman in each group and have tremor totems up the entire fight.

Warriors don't need PvP trinkets. Berserker Rage has a shorter CD than the fear so is usable every single fear. MT needs to stance dance, DPS warriors park in Berserker Stance anyway.

Linking damage meters is fine imo...provided the boss dies. If the boss doesn't die then it doesn't matter how much dps you did. Especially in this fight if you are a mage who's topping the dps but not decursing worth a shit.

Anyone else notice that the doomfires all spawn behind Archimonde now? Most of the videos I've seen show fires in front of him ( that once in awhile loop around but not into middle ). Now the fires go friggin everywhere behind him making this fight 100x harder than it looks in these videos.

At 10% you win without doing anything at all, 20 seconds after he hits 10%, Wisps come and kill him, you do NOT have to nuke him down. We tried it and we took it easy, didnt even DPS. Just saw wisps come and kill him and loot:P

Well Lil, want a view of what it means to be a mage in endgame raids? There are a few things you are there for in a raid:

- Food/Water

- Int buff

- Surviving stuff with Ice Block and Invis and laughing at the non mages

- Crying when you see locks beat you in dps no matter how hard you try.

And just having a fun time with 24 friends.

oh and i forgot.. wondering why your dps sucks sometimes, then realizing that you get to buff and feed the group as well as have simply THE BEST Crowd Control WoW has to offer.

Then, when you finally reach MH, you realize that Arcane spec Arcane Explosion, or a Frost spec with a good Flamestrike/Blizzard rotation is hard to be beaten AoE even by Seed spamming Locks.

Actually, my main is a raiding mage. if you read my posts you will see that i am writing both good and bad things about the class. All from first hand experience. My guild is trying Archi now and preparing for Mother in BT, so I learned to play my class long ago.

I agree that dmg meters arent as important post TBC, but nearing the end of T6 and in Sunwell there are some fights that are huge DPS races against the enrage timer. So everybody needs to max out dps while doing their other class role

play WC3 a while (play it throw) and u will agree that Archimonde is to easy to defeate on WoW, he should have more armor (alot more) and some more hp too, around 5.400.000 :P, ill also say blizzard have bent nice, Archimonde have the spell to summon infernals,Doomguards and Felstalkers.. but are removed on WoW.

meh in wc3 all u have to do is not suck to much and just last long enough for the army of wisp, imo they should have had the same idea, just make it a really healing intesive fight and instead of a enrage timer there was a u must last this long timer. i mean you could keep it pretty much the same as it is but make it you must last o say 12 mins, now that would be more like wc3
