  • Pedrosa seemed to do fine on Michelins. Only one Bridgestone rider in the top 3 in 2007.

  • Not really if you take a look at his results he struggled in the first races and stoner in the other hand just seemed to dominate the whole 2007 season with bridgestone, yeah one might say ducati is quicker but just look at rossi in the race at turkey which received a 10th position due to deffective tyres and is now moving to bridgestone for the 2008 season

  • tyres enable the bikes to "grip the track" without them the bikes would slide and skid on the bare rims, and lap times would be significantly reduced.
