You can find the complete info for the camera I use in the "High-speed Video (HSV)" section my website (see the URL in the video description). Just click on "high-speed camera."  It is a Kodak Motion Corder Analyzer PS-110 (which isn't made or sold by Kodak any longer).

it looks like there's a hell lot of chalk there coming off

There was a little extra chalk on the tip, but a chalk "cloud" is still typical with a more typical amount of chalk.
