he's the RIO, the radar intercept officer. or at least he is in the tomcat. He operates the radar and manages the weapons systems, both of which are more sophisticated on the Strike Eagle because of it's mission profile compared to the single seat F-15c. thats my guess anyway

This is an awesome video! This year the big airshow I got to go to was MCAS Miramar. Next year I hope I can go to Nellis AFB. It would also be cool to see the F-15.
