Jindal has spent more than any other governor before him. He increased the budget by 1.1 billion dollars, He has grown state government by 4 thousand people during his so called hiring
freeze, He gave all his buddies big raises.Louisiana now has a 2 billion dollar deficit. Now he wants spend 1 million dollars of stimulus money on a bridge off of a mud road for a private enterprise. Jindal is nothing but big spending and more government.

Don't at least 30 or 40 governors have the line-item veto? Does Jindal have it? If he does, there's no excuse for excessive spending (unless, of course, the legislature overrides a line-item veto). Arnold Schwarzenegger needs to grow some balls and cut that 42 Billion deficit! I'm sure there are plenty of programs that need to be cut and are unnecessary or wasteful.

I'm not a Republican, but Jindal seems like one of the more rational ones nowadays. He's not some Christian fundie nut or moralist (at least I hope not) like so many others who pushed nonsense like the Federal Marriage Amendment, and he seems good on spending and taxes.
