The gun shown here, which has resembalence to the Bren is the Type 99 LMG made by the Japanese during WW2 in the Pacific Campaign. If you mean the gun at 0:22, although the image is a Bren, the author was likely referring to the Type 99 machin gun, which is the weapon that actually appears in the game. They look pretty similar, although the stocks look different.

And whats all this about the guns appearing in other games? Some people seem to be under the delusion that WWII is a trademarked fiction. The weapons are real, and appear in many WWII games for that reason.
