This sound quality is 'normal' for a plastic tape player Teddy (they have lower audio quality than the metal ones), but does sound like it's running a bit too fast. Nice to see his face motors are still working; it's rare to find one that doesn't have stuck motors these days! You should get Grubby; he'll work with this Teddy :)

Cool! Glad to see you got it! Teddy seems to be pretty functional, given that he's an electronic toy from the 80's! Many of them get broken!
