#1- britney's actual performance was almost identical to this, the main and only real difference is when she didn't let them pick her up for that lift, and you can tell she was scared cuz they were all ready to and she wouldn't budge. the choreography is lame and weak and not fitting. she didn't look that bad, i was actually at work and the only britney fan and all the guys were like, 'DAYUMMM, girl got bootie now!!!!' this was blown so out of proportion. glad she overcame ALL of it. ATTA GIRL!

To be honest, I actually prefer the way Britney delievered it. The song is about being pressured by paparazzi while trying to find someone and all the paparazzi cares about is getting more and more. I feel like the way Britney delivered it showed how the paparazzi was fucking with her life. Also, I heard that Britney had heard Sarah Silverman rehearsing the jokes about Britney's kids.

This is great, but not enough. Britney defined VMA performances. She was always hitting headlines the next day because she had delivered a unique, controversial and shocking performances that are now iconic. Its funny because, if she would have delivered it like the stand in did, she would have hit headlines for it not being up to the standard of her previous VMA performances. It needed to be sexier. By her messing up, she actually made it more memorable than she would have if she owned it tbh.

I secretly wish that she would do a "re-do" of this performance as a gift to her fans for sticking by her. I think it would be a nice way to sort of make amends and put closure to that period in her performing career. Original choreography, number of dancers, outfits, set and design. It would be a tongue in cheek sort of thing. I think that would be amazing.

What Britney ended up wearing (her bra and panties) is NOT what she was supposed to wear - they had a very sexy outfit with a corset to help "slim" her up for the appearance. Britney insisted on wearing her thing which did nothing for her body or this number imo. Such a shame - hot moves and dancers in this rehearsal.

I get so sad everytime i watch this! Imagine if Britney nailed that performance, she probably would have done more tv performances and interviews and blackout would have been so much better!! We would have gotten the original gimme more video, and probably a LIVE ACTION break the ice and radar!! It would have been amazing but it just wasn't meant to be. This is why she hardly ever makes tv appearances now :(

i really love that choreography,and it all could be really good but Britney messed it up,she was not fit for it but stupid choreographer made a costume that doesnt cover anything almost....i feel so sorry for her....oh and this isnt the real rehearsal,this is just a fanmade remake to the choreography....

@OneAndOnlyNexy001 Actually it is real not fanmade if you watch it back closely you'll notice it's the same dancers from that night even the guy who choreographed the number is in it. He's the one Britney dances with in this performance. I think it was confirmed a while back that it was legit.
