Not a good idea because that takes a lot of energy for the traps to close and if you do that without food they will die because they only reopen four or five times and then they die

if you give it a cheeseburger it will die, meat kills it (other than bugs of course!) and even sometimes they can be fatal. but as always, sunlight is a main diet for these plants

@Stuntshow17 there was actually a (gross) test done by barry rice to see the results of putting skin in one. but no,, it wouldnt hurt it. it has to have an airtight seal before actually secreting the liiquid before it does that or bacteria will get in and kill the plant.
