A) It wasn't obvious that the audience liked it. The audience clapped for the same reason all audiences of a high school production clap...they have to.

B) You're no Matt Stone or Trey Parker...Would you go to a museum and touch up the Picassos? Leave the art to professionals.

c) Saying you know the death note version and the original version only proves that you know the death note version and the original version. Since you said you re-wrote the lyrics, it's a moot argument...

@theEricWalker well you know what? we had an awesome time performing up there, and no one can ever destroy that. so in the end, it's YOUR argument that's moot.

@theEricWalker did we claim to be ANY sort of good? we went up there to have fun and we changed some lyrics to make it compatible with Death Note. i also realize that we are not Asian or more specifically japanese. that did not influence our decision to have fun at an anime convention either. so if its THAT painful to watch.... dont watch it, simple as that.

@theEricWalker actually it wasn't painful at all =) the audience obviously liked it and we had a great time performing it. and as for the lyrics, we made our own lyrics for most parts of the song, and we know both the Death Note version and the original version by heart. so there.
