Hi, thanx for the tutorial.

I burned my video to disk but found it had the date showing all through it and a little yellow square with 'play' ...I didn't want this so I will have to burn it again....well I have managed to get rid of the date and the word 'play' but there is still a little yellow square showing on my video ....how do I get rid of it, please? thanx

@Medusa7700Siren Maybe..... Or maybe your DVD player doesn't support the DVD.... But I don't suggest that you use DVD maker.....Cause every time I burn the DVD it doesn't has an audio...... so i suggest you just use the regular DVD burner

ive made a bunch of dvds using windows movie maker and then the dvd maker.. but as time went on, my success has gotten less and less, and now, i pretty much despise it all.. what mysterious forces created this problem? i have plenty of room on the hard drive, and as far as i can tell, the devil himself has made it where i cant make a dvd, no matter how short it is.. all that i ever get now, is my computer restarting and saying it had to do it to keep from being damaged

Hi - can someone tell me how to import an existing dvd onto my p.c first, so that I can then choose it and add it to the dvd I am writing? The dvd I want to copy is non-copy protected. I can burn dvd's no problem, containing music/photos already on my p.c, but can't get the info off an existing dvd onto my p.c ready to copy ontoa fresh dvdrw. Any ideas? Thanks.

@zymmyiscool windows dvd maker won't convert avi files to mpeg..search for a avi to mpeg converter...after you have your convertion add the converted file to dvd maker

This program lacks SO many features it's ridiculous. It doesn't allow you to create DVD chapters, doesn't allow you to have more than 15 seconds of audio on the menu, doesn't let you have two seperate videos on a disc (you know where it doesn't play ALL through them, just return to the menu after the selected video), doesn't even let you have just a still image as the dvd menu background! Utter rubbish.
