@Mack7395 how the hell do you know if Eric Bischoff was a rude person or not back in the old WCW?? I mean i heard that he had a huge ego back in the days but i dont think he treated people like shit, your comment on Vince Mcmahon treating people fairly is so stupid. He treated Bret Hart like shit back in 1997 in the Montreal Screwjob,He treaded Hulk Hogan like shit back in 1993!!! Your just another stupid wrestling mark who doesnt know shit about the real wrestling business!!!!
@Mack7395 Dont you fucking tell me about respect kid!!!! I respect every single wrestler that ever lived,I have no respect for people like you who trash people like Eric Bischoff!! I mean i really dont care but it pisses me of how you say that he treated people like shit!! If you have a problem with Eric Bischoff then go talk to him about it ur self..Dont go and trash talk over the internet like a BITCH!!!!!
Im aint no kid. Im alot older then what you think, your entitled to your opinions. But if you have a problem with me, then stand up and do something about it.
@Mack7395 how can i do that? I Dont know were you live?? And yes i do have a problem with you because you clearly have no respect for people like Bischoff.. And no im not going to do anything about it because there is always going to be people like you talking crap over the internet so you can write on your little keyboard all night or all day if you want to.. But im not going to say sorry for defending a guy like Bischoff who did so mutch for WCW..
@Mack7395 get of your keyboard and go do something with your life. Your comment tells me that your a 7 year old crybaby who never had any brains!!! But hey your only a fat out of shaped stupid American right? Go back to the hole where you came from dickhead!!! And stop sending me your stupid messages like some internet nerd...
@thesupplantor Really is... This is the first time watching these OTR shows and why he keeps shoving words down peoples mouths is beyond me.. all he has to do is ask the simple questions people want to hear...instead he rips off some asinine statement thats completely false and makes his interviewee uncomfortable and as a viewer his mantra is a completely turn off
@dukane14 Landsberg practices what's known as ambush journalism, what we don't see is the interim periods where he's making the guest feel comfortable with softball questions, then he asks asinine stuff when the cameras are rolling. It's a shit way of doing things and is something I find disrespectful and slimey/cowardly/lazy. Good examples of this type are Geraldo Rivera, Tom Snyder, Martin Bashir etc.
Eric Bischoff is one of the most controversial personalities in professional wrestling, but the simple fact is... ..he's good at what he does. Everyone accredits Bischoff for WCW's downfall, but it was more than just Bischoff who lead to the demise of WCW. He worked with WWE after WCW closed up until like.. 2005? and WWE is still on the air today, so it's not like he is the soul destroyer of pro wrestling. But the simple fact does remain, Bischoff is damn good at what he does.
@MrCsharpMajor right heard that, but his point is he featured lighter guys, which is old old school not a new thing....he called them cruiserweight like boxing did. he was a mediocre wrestling mind, had no ideas after he used up his 1st few..He had something new and then squandered it. I love watching the interviews with all the guys from WCW thatsay he was clueless...he is not in the class of Vince as a wrestling guy.
@JoeyPencils he's been in the business as long as sting, doesn't need to be in the business anymore as he is financially set for life but still does it cos he absolutely loves it, he is very much a wrestling guy. he's worked full time behind the scenes, you haven't, so you are in zero position to comment. by all means comment on your opinion of the best wrestler/best tag team, everyone is entitled to that, but your opinion on the behind closed doors stuff? nope.
Who is Landsberg? Thanks to the people who posted these videos but I am curious who as to who he is.He seems to do a lot of wrestler interviews. As far as Eric Bischoff, his legacy or one thing he did that was great was he exposed us to the cruiser weights like Benoit,Jericho,Malenko,Guerrero etc. Thanks to him we got to see exciting wrestling from the cruiser weights.
@MrManmountainrock ECW gets too much credit for the Cruiserweights. Heyman brought a lot of those guys over but as far back as 1992 WCW were putting on great Cruiserweight matches like Pillman vs Liger at Superbrawl II. Guerrero, Benoit etc started in ECW but they weren't exposed until they went to WCW where they were seen on a National level. ECW was a North East regional promotion and like me you're British so you didn't see it 'back in the day' either. Don't base your opinion on a WWE DVD
@PureDynamiteKid i did watch it bk in the day i used to watch it on dsf a german channel in 96 and later on it was on bravo also it was bischoff that seen the tallent in ecw and took them because they were getting over in a big way with american audiences and while it is true they did have smaller stars in wcw they were never taken serious untill ecw as for basing my opinion on a wwe dvd i can only asume you mean the rise and fall of ecw but i have been a fan of ecw way before wwe ruined it
@wannabenj It is a daily sports talk show. He interviews guys from every sport and celebrities, actors rock stars etc.. He was respected by the Wrestlers because he treated them with respect. Mick Foley in 2000 and Bret Hart both announced their retirements on his show. and He did the first interview with Bret after his stroke.
well heres the mistakes bischoff made while in wcw.1 firing steve austin and pillman .2 bringing in bret hart 3. not having the advantage to go and look at other tv stations so wcw could still exist i mean vince wasnt always on usa network he was once on spike where tna is at now
@MarkoAnzio yeah but if u dont know what to do with the individual u bring in to your company such as this dont bring him in at all and if bret would have stayed with the wwe at the time owen probably would not have died
@MarkoAnzio Iam a Hitman fan myself, but lets face it, Bret was not exactly flexible and the whole 'screwjob' had left him angry, and to a more dangerous extent, sad. I believe he was a bit disillusioned about the whole industry and of course the tragic death of his brother contributed to his depression.
Also, i think a certain someone who says "brother" a lot was also responsible for his underrated run.
LoL I don't care what anyone says, just the fact that Bischoff was able to have a laugh and actually pony up the $5 to Landsburg about the whole WCW vs. WWF thing makes him an ok guy in my book.
Er no. $5 is nothing to Eric Bischoff. Did you not hear him basically admit he has a big ego and loves to make money so he can have a luxurious life? He's not a wrestling guy like he tried to claim, he's a business man who likes money. He would sell his soul to make get ratings and make as much money as possible.
I don't know whether it's because i was a WWF guy but there's still something i cannot stand about Eric Bischoff. I appreciate his talent and his creative side but i really wanna smack the taste out of his mouth. Hence why he's a great heel
He didn't ask about the NWO.

If there's someone who can make you root for Eric Bishoff it's Micheal Landsberg: the biggest douche on TV. Bishoff is right, Landsberg is an idiot.
