This was my first main-console Sonic game. (I grew up with a Nintendo family.) So I love it to pieces. I love the graphics, the voice acting, and I LIKE the werehog stages. And the story is actually intriguing. I adore this game. <3 Sonic Unleashedddddd! :D

The night levels is why I can't wait for Sonic Colors. It seems to be what Sonic Unleashed would've been without the night levels. I have to say, the Sonic Adventure games are the best 3D Sonic games. Chip is not all that annoying.

@wowkittycatclaws You are only pointing out the negative points in SA1. It was a great game for a good amount of retro gamers (including myself) and it was a big step when it came to gameplay. Sure, Big was annoying to play as and the treasure hunting was a bore. But it offered a storyline that tied each character into different aspects of the game.
As for Sonic Unleashed, the only thing that was great about the game is the Daytime stages. The ratings for the game was fairly poor as well.

Sonic Colors is coming out in november 16, 2010 made by sega and dimps. the game is like sonic unleashed without the werehog. the writers of the game are Mad World and Happy Tree Friends. i saw the preview for the game and it is FANTASTIC. check it out right now on youtube. this game will blow you away

Sonic games aren't getting worse, they're just as good as they've always been and you need to understand that they need to change the way the game plays to fit today's tech, today a lot of people think of Sonic as a joke but personally I think Sonic is the best character in video game history, the games are special and are completely original, that's why I will keep playing Sonic.

Hey, if you love the daytime levels you should buy the level packs on 360 or ps3. They you get alt least 3 more levels day stages to each world along with a special level that is similar to the main day level of each world but tweaked a whole bunch so its much more challenging. I think this is the best sonic game made in like ten years
Sonic unleashed isn't that bad, most people play JUST the story, or the first 3 stages, and say its crap(Irategamer), but once you beat the game, you find there are TONS more things to do as Sonic, and also, if your good enough to speed run, you can beat most Werehog stages within about 5 minutes, and yes, there IS proof, i have a speed run on my channel,

I MOSTLY agree with this. But I don't think it's horrible, and it could have been great if the Werehog levels were much shorter and followed a more streamlined designed (minus gimmicky stuff like tightway walking), had the Wii version's medal collection collecting system (you get medals based on rank) and reward system, and the Wii's mission system. Also, would it have hurt to include the spin dash animation?!?! T-T If they did these things, I think it could have been great....

Sonic Colors is coming out in november 16, 2010 made by sega and dimps. the game is like sonic unleashed without the werehog. the writers of the game are Mad World and Happy Tree Friends. i saw the preview for the game and it is FANTASTIC. check it out right now on youtube. this game will blow you away

Sonic games aren't getting worse, they're just as good as they've always been and you need to understand that they need to change the way the game plays to fit today's tech, today a lot of people think of Sonic as a joke but personally I think Sonic is the best character in video game history, the games are special and are completely original, that's why I will keep playing Sonic.

Hey, if you love the daytime levels you should buy the level packs on 360 or ps3. They you get alt least 3 more levels day stages to each world along with a special level that is similar to the main day level of each world but tweaked a whole bunch so its much more challenging. I think this is the best sonic game made in like ten years

Sonic unleashed isn't that bad, most people play JUST the story, or the first 3 stages, and say its crap(Irategamer), but once you beat the game, you find there are TONS more things to do as Sonic, and also, if your good enough to speed run, you can beat most Werehog stages within about 5 minutes, and yes, there IS proof, i have a speed run on my channel,
done within like, 3 minutes.

GREAT review as always - very, very entertaining! I'm not much of a Sonic fan myself, but my favourite game is Sonic CD. That's the best - even the other older titles... They just don't feel the same like Sonic CD!

This game was pretty fun for the Wii version....well not as fun as the PS3/Xbox360 version but you get the idea.
I also laughed ridiculously hard when you talked about Chip.

The Daytimes are great and Just because the Werehog is'nt like Sonic and it rips of God of War does'nt mean its bad, And is'nt annoying, He's funny and cute. And yes the medals can be a probelms but overall I give Sonic Unleashed (PS3/360 version) 9/10.

I MOSTLY agree with this. But I don't think it's horrible, and it could have been great if the Werehog levels were much shorter and followed a more streamlined designed (minus gimmicky stuff like tightway walking), had the Wii version's medal collection collecting system (you get medals based on rank) and reward system, and the Wii's mission system. Also, would it have hurt to include the spin dash animation?!?! T-T If they did these things, I think it could have been great....
