  • beautiful vibrato and grace notes. i just did this for my last piece in a level recital. thumbs up :)

  • Very Nice........

  • Beautiful

  • Nice tenor tone.

  • It is an old Martin tenor sax.

  • so many different versions I've heard...yours in the only true one...the only one I would keep....well done, darlin'

  • Do you have the music sheet for this?

  • Yeah.. like that.

  • Para sonar asi sin acompañamiento solo queda decir que tienes mucho talento.

  • Well done. Very nice tone.

  • i have an alto sax

ive been playing for about 2 years

my band instructor is the best

and i have mastered this song already

    and

i am onli 12 ( not to sound braggy)

even tho ur using a tenor they sound very much alike

  • no they dont.

  • ur such a kid. ur a fucking poser stop going around telling ppl that u sound like them and saying that ur only twelve. post a video of ur self playing alto and if u sound good I'll shut up. how's that? deal? but I bet u suck anyways so don't bother cause u know it's true

  • 1 standard down.

    10,000 to go.

    shut up.

  • I love it!. I'm trying to learn this on my tenor. Thankyou so much!

    Tom

  • what mouthpiece and reed are you using?? just curious...

  • u really know ur job dude, ur great keep up with some more videos

  • great job!

check out zoot sim's version here at youtube!

  • you are really good..closet thing i heard to the original yet.

  • I recently taped 3 of your songs and then taped myself playing the same songs. Your sound is so much nicer than mine. I seem to get a nasal (best way I can explain it) sound. I am playing a Selmer Super Action tenor with a Runyon metal Quantum mouthpiece a various reeds. Do you have any suggestions how I can improve my tone or am I just stuck with a lousy sound?

  • İf you like more velvetlike, soft sound then do not use metal mouthpiece. Use a bakalyte one with a close tip opening. Try a rico royal reed 2,5 or 3 .

  • i love your tone, great playing!

  • Hey man! I am a jazz tenor player from New Orleans. I played an arrangment of this chart with my band for a contest. I won the best overall soloist in the festival. You sound great. How long have you been playing.

  • Please do some more videos. I would love to hear you do a dozen songs. Thanks for the great music.

  • nice sound... man, i wish rhythm sections weren't so hard to come by... at least they are in these parts.

  • Thank you, Absolutley beautifull!!! full of heart!!

  • great, i like so much and i will try to play this tune like you. compliments

  • Awesome, listen to alot of Bean?

  • WOW, that was great. I've have only played tenor for a year now and I would give anything to eventually sound like that.

  • wow, that makes me look like a rookie playing the tener...even though im kinda a rookie anywhay...lol, i just cornerd myself....

  • Wow nice sound! What mouthpiece and sax do you use?

  • I have a Bobby Dukoff mouthpiece with an old Martin tenor.

  • AllRIGHT! Sounds real good! You did it well, very nice listening.
