Hi.

I'm from the UK, and my local Halfords sells Meguiars Deep Crystal Carnauba. I'm seriously considering buying this tomorrow and trying your technique while waiting for Neverwet to come out.

I cannot see a problem using this on my HTC Wildfire S just as long as the phone doesn't smell too much when in pocket out in public :)

I'm not a fan of having to clean the screen all the time so hope this works for me.

@quint0nJ I don't think you would need it with the newer touches. They should already have a fingerprint resistant screen. Give it a try, it won't hurt the screen.

the only thing to be careful of is that a "cleaner" wax has a slighlty harsher compound on it than a regular carnuba wax and might leave little little swirl marks.

As a side note, just like a car, you'll have to rewax. I haven't yet and mine is collecting finger prints very quickly. I think i'll redo it.

Remember, clean hands = clean phone.

Yes, but probably unnecessary because it's not a touch screen phone. It won't get as dirty because you're not constantly touching the screen

Not the same type of wax. I wouldn't recommend it. The heat of the melted wax could damage your screen and when it dries, it becomes tacky like surf wax. The wax cannot be spread thin enough to where it would not affect touch feedback. Ofcourse, you're always welcome to try anything.

Just remember to keep your hands clean. Some of the oil from your hands can smudge the wax

hey. i got the LG Titanium Voyager. I use crest Sparkle Blue toothpaste on the front touch screen, and the result is flawless, and i did it withOUT the screen protector on, and after whiping it, there was no resadue, or smuges.

Some users don't know how wax works and would probably streak from top to bottom rather than rub in circles at all. It helps to identify your target audience.

Water will wash dirt away, but the oil from your fingers will still remain. Water and oil don't mix, so you need something as hydrophobic as oil, which is wax. Some waxes also have protectants in them as well.
