Hi! Thanks for the video. I am trying to decide between the Brew Magic and the Tippy system by MoreBeer. Did Sabco get everything fixed for you at no charge? I am leaning toward the tippy because it can do 20 gallon batches and the horizontal set up looks like less area in my garage when not in use. Did you look at both? What do you think is the pro and con between systems?

Am I glad I watched this for the price they charge you would think the temp would be dead on! Im going back and forth between a More Beer setup and this but now after seeing this im really thinking the more beer is the way to go! Have you heard back from Sabco about the issues you are/were having?
@BeerGeekNation I have been in contact with Sabco this whole time. They tell me to try "brewing" a batch of water to see if I can get the system to work properly...and it does. But add 25lbs of grain and forget it. It will not hold temp. I cant figure it out!
@jcarroll592 I was thinking of buying the Brewmagic, but after seeing your video I'm a little nervous about laying out that kind of money if the system doesn't perform as advertised. Did you solve the issue of the fluctuating mash temp...was there some adjustment that needed to be made? Any other issues that needed to be resolved? Thanks for the review

Nice walkthrough. And Silversun Pickups is rad, good call. I'm giving serious thought to picking a system up, I can't believe they'd overlook little problems like that though. Especially when more and more people are starting to notice the MoreBeer sculptures.
Did you ever get a response from Sabco on the temperature issues with the manual thermometer? With a $6K system, there should not be any issues like that which you had shown. I had seen the video from Dogfish and he swears by the unit. Thoughts???
