  • wow thats an odd setup for that car, she should be practically on the floor, not at the same height as tanner

  • @carmastrikes yea but co-drivers need to see the road my friend

  • I think she does an amazing job (all except the late Right 5/4 call). Her composure after the accident is admirable. I'd certainly have her in my Left seat (NZ drivers are on the Right). I've had many a co driver stall after small off's and it takes them longer to recover than it does to discover the car is functional. She's professional, clear and concise, and it's most certainly not an easy job. I'd think a good proportion of the haters here would throw up in a real rally.

  • wow shes a bitch

  • Should have stayed in the kitchen. :^/

  • I would agree women drivers are not as good as men but for different reasons. I'd argue that they are no where near as aggressive or willing to take risks. Also they must be willing to do that at a young age to develop the necessary skills. Have a quick look at the way young men and women drive and you will instantly see why men dominate at racing drivers.

  • @WinzoIsAEpicFail I also believe its a decision making ability under high stress - I wont decree that ALL women have this, but in lots of circumstances, a high stress environment makes them cancel out the proper motives for making a correct decision. Training, of course, can help correct this - as per lots of female race car drivers and the like.

  • I would marry this woman.

  • @jaykeMURD ehh she talks to much

  • LOL @ americans trying to rally.

    STFU and google McRae.

  • @MaxSafeheaD thats completely uncalled for. Driving is driving; yes, rallying was born in Europe, but there are plenty of epic rally drivers from The States.

  • @iriddell1

    yea, soz

  • @MaxSafeheaD

Of course, one great rally driver for a massive nation like America is normal, but how many great rally drives there are from little nations in Europe ?

  • @xcenonss

    McRae was Scottish.

  • @xcenonss French and fins aren't small nations...

  • I think women are actually pretty good at observation skills such as this co driver job, but they cant be driver because their reflexes are slow.

  • @ahsuknat if this your opinion chek Michele Mouton and the beast she drove in the 80s 90s

  • @ahsuknat Women lack high amounts of testosterone (which compliments muscle growth), not brain cells, such as yourself.

    P.S. I'm a guy.

  • @Ensirum

    true

  • I bet she makes some mean sammiches.

  • She was reading tooo fast - a little anxious to finish the race lol

  • lol na but for real wats with all the numbers she is given him an stuff

  • @celis281 i think its the speed he needs to go i "THINK"

  • is she given him dircetions to walmart

  • turn gas a little harder :)))))))) xD Loeb is best !!! :D Learn to drive that better , this is amateur drive really ...

  • @Aleksandar84able These are WRC WORKS Rally Cars, there just Group N Cars. their Pick ups and Revs alter and the engine also for that matter because there are regulations from Group N from WRC Cars'.....

  • Vladan Petrovic from Ap-sport in Serbia is 7 times champion in our country in grop N, my father make his subaru imprezza N11. But they dont drive anymore since 2010 because of the lot of mafia in our rally ... my father is the best mehanic in Serbia and he drive also very good. You just must be a little more faster with a wheel and changing a gear in write time, and all will be better . Good luck with rally

  • fuck ken, tanner is the boss...

  • Very good job, but I agree, she needs to slooooow down! She is definitely calling out the corners too early.

  • @TheMadHatter2261 She apologieses for calling the corner they crash on too late. She most certainly does not need to slow down, nor is she calling corners too early. You setup a rally car 100's of meters before a corner. This isn't a video game.

  • She did damn good. Didn't lose her composure at all checked her driver and kept right on going, kept him going. A damn good job.

  • What a bad ass job

  • at least she isnt screaming like all other girls in rally cars

  • I didn't know the new evos came fitted with a kitchen...

  • i dont even understand the lingo what exactly are the numbers?

  • She called that way too late.

  • nice!! i have never seen a woman co-pilot :)

  • @darthjerky

then you should watch outside of the US ;-)

  • @darthjerky Really?

  • WoW you need some hefty skills for either position lol

  • Being a dyslexic co-driver would quickly lead to disaster.

  • 1:34 Driving like Ken Block LoL,

  • Shes tough,I would have shit all over myself after he hit that tree.It looks like the car was gonna lose, but just kept on pushin

  • she did great except the part were she said right 5 about 10 seconds to late !

  • don't take this the wrong way guys, but imo its way too much. She delivers it amazingly, but for a straight away she gave about 30 commands. Theres a point where pace notes need to be simple and get the important details, rather than have so much that the driver can't catch everything being said.

  • @Sparatan117 I think if tanner wanted it a different way he would have told her as such. Personally I can't handle that much information. I prefer my info about 10 seconds ahead.

  • @MobileReign

her version: small crest fifty minus left five plus over small crest

my version: over crest fifty left 5 over crest

I can see the road and judge it as to big hill or small hill. but telling me its a big crest or small crest is unneeded if I can see the hill...and yes I agree the information needs to be given at least 7-10sec before

  • @Sparatan117 The driver usually dictates the notes or at least verifies them. If she said it that way, it means the driver wanted it that way.

If he wanted them faster he would've said so and again that's personal preference.

Also a lot of the time they try to include some information which might seem unnecessary but they do this to train the brain to react in accordance so that the thinking time is minimized.

  • @Sparatan117 The thing is the two are a team. She isn't some random woman they plucked off the street. The two have practiced many hours together.

If the driver had a problem with her notes, he would have said something about it. It's very much likely the driver himself prefers his pacenotes this way.

  • This is an outstanding video. Every fool commenting negatively on this video might want to reconsider their judgement of such a difficult task. I believe both behaved and performed very well. Thanks for posting. I agree with you RallyCat.

  • chumps have nothing on the WRC

  • why does every skate boarder / ex bmxer think thy can rally these days.

just because they have the money for the cars.

The Euro drivers would kill these guys all day long.

  • @virtualboy1995 Stop complaining. We're finally getting some mainstream coverage/participation of rally racing in the US. WRC is WRC, and the Fin's & Loeb will always rule, but hey...let's not compare apples to oranges. I'm overjoyed the sport is finally breaking through here!

  • @virtualboy1995 dude! euro drivers are good... but don't be dissin' on Tanner Foust

  • Left 6 into right 5 no 4 bang. priceless

  • i bet they got a big Headache after that.

  • her calm voice gets alittle more anxious after the crash and she does get ahead of the directions alittle

  • She`s got bigger balls than me. I`d have Poohdoo`d myself.

  • She just lost her timeing and started to get too far ahead for the driver. And yeah... Co-Drivers have a fucking hard job.

  • Mitsubishi's are tough as shit!

  • I think in a lot of ways, being a co-driver is actually harder than driving. You have to know the notes, know the driver, know where the car is, and deliver clear, accurate directions throughout the whole run. I wouldn't be able to do that, not with all those distractions around me.

  • co drivers must be a hard job

    kudos to her

  • i just saw this video and it seems like people don't like to the idea of a girl co driver? does it really matter what gender they are? i mean as long as they help you win i wouldn't care if it was a drag queen, just get me to the finish line! lol

    p.s. she sounds hot :)

  • why did she say sorry? did she miss a turn?

  • @isthissnfree she called a right 5+ when it was a right 4

  • @isthissnfree

You must have missed the part they hit a tree. : )

  • She is amazing "Watch it, see if the car is broken" She is cautious and professional

  • she can't nav.

  • lol @ diesel comment...noob

  • Starts to sound like a diesel at 2:40

  • turn... turn... turn...TURN!!!!!! ah tree

  • She said right 4 over crest at the last second, right 5, right fooour over crest,

     rally is so gnarly

  • Wow.... THAT'S INSANE!!! That's really scary!

  • How often to mild crashes like 1:37 usually happen in WRC ?

  • @Silenced140

    alllll the time...

  • I Don't Know A Lot About Rallying But I Have to Say...I Didn't Like It Until Now :D I Always Love Evos So Today I Decided To See What Evos Are Also Made For Besides Comfort And Street Racing...And Now...I Have to Say That This Is Intense! :O I'd Be Nervous If I Was The Driver and Probably The Girl to "Stfu And Let Me Concentrate Damn!" But This Is Real Nice :D Im going to Learn More About Rallying! :D

  • Check out "WRC: What is rally". It briefly describes the sport to the point.

  • @CirocDotTv european rally is much more intense than this

  • I wouldn't doubt it, Europe is further ahead in auto sports than here in America.

  • @CirocDotTv

You need the girl (co-driver) to tell you of upcoming turns. If not, you're fucked.

  • @CirocDotTv For God's Sake Don't Capitalize Every Word It Makes Your Post Extremely Hard To Read

Go Back To First Grade Grammar

  • narrow guard - left 6, right 5.... she meant right 6, right?

  • yep

  • wrong call on that turn

  • she says sorry as if it was her fault, but i dont know why.... anyone know why.

  • @essenceofcool

    She mis-called a right 4 as right 5.

  • wayyyyy too late on that 5R.

  • poor tree :(

  • hahahahaha..."poor tree" lol

  • I dont understand how the drivers can listen to the pacenotes, i'd get lost. why cant the just say "hard right" or "medium left" or something?

  • more detail of the road will help when they are going at speed. hard right can be a different everytime.

  • why is she talking in jiberish and numbers .. i am sure it is for somthing important

  • When she says left 3, right 6, right 1 etc. it indicates the direction of the bend and the numbers indicate how sharp the angle of the bend in the course is from a scale of 1 to 6. So a right 1 is a very very sharp right bend and a left 6 is a really gentle left curve of the course. When she says double or triple digit numbers like 20, 50, 100, those are the number of meters in-between turns. Long and short is the length of the bend. Crests are the apex of the road, the highest point.

  • @aahayford What does the "plus" and "minus" mean?

  • @benofoz plus and minus are inbetween terms to indicate the sharpness of the turn. For example a plus right 5 is softer than a regular right 5 but still sharper than a 6 or minus 6. Hope that made sense.

  • @aahayford It does, thanks.

  • the co-driver is a real trooper. props to her.

  • IS THE TREE OK???

  • @asaturn the tree sufered severe trauma and internal bleeding and didn't make it :(

  • i dont thing she said tree dead center at 1:30

  • @jonwilly2 serioussly rude iy was an accident if you think your so pro at rallying why dont you try it

  • @jonwilly2 Actually, the tree is OFF the road. She's giving road directions, not tree counting!

  • @cxbra I know that, its for a laugh.

  • Is it me or is she calling out the corners like, 1 corner too quickly? She'll say the next three turns coming up SUPER quickly when they're on a straightaway... Driver is like WTF?? I think she needs to space out her notes a little bit. In WRC the driver doesnt say shit until about 100-200 feet away from the first corner and goes from there. This rally run would have been MUCH quicker if she slowed down. Everytime he recalled her notes he had to get off the throttle..

  • i wouldve gone crazy with all that talking going on

  • You're an idiot. try doing a rally stage without a spotter.

  • Say what you want about her, but her delivery of the notes is calm, concise, and the cadence of her voice is even and easy to understand. the fast that she didn't lose her overall composure after that moment is a testimony to her professionalism. One would be wise to watch this video with that in mind.

  • Well said! Wise words from a musician or a wiseman in general. Not often someone delivers a comment using cadence with correct meaning.

  • ur absolutely right she did a marvelouse job one word professional

  • @RallyCat909 she did give him the wrong cue for the corner he went off. She needs to work on her delivery. Good overall cues tho.

  • @RallyCat909 she says keep goin afer they hit it

  • There is a saying in rallying: 'The co-driver never wins rallies, then only lose them.' :/

  • f***! this is hard work !!!!!!!!

  • haha they wreck n the girl like deosnt skip a beat

  • sorry tanner? thats what she said? its ok, its only a 100 thousand dollar car. thats enough to send 3 to 4 hotter girls through college to read better than this chick.

  • co driver error...call notes that are closer together ie... with 30's between then eg R5 + 30 R4 /^ ( the thing she says around 1:33 ) call them really fast...im a codriver myself and i underline these bits so i remember to call them faster so the driver can slow down

  • how does she not get dizzy reading while bouncing around

  • shes used to it =)

  • hahaha

  • hahaha:p

  • id get crazy of some1 like that woman, right crest small crest 100 blablabla fuckt up job

  • That's what they're supposed to do. All rally drivers like their navigators to tell them different stuff. That's just the way Tanner likes it.

  • Bow chicka wow ow.

  • Damn I should have seen that one coming!

    Bow chicka wow ow

  • she says are we ok but she doesnt sound like she is lol

  • lmfao

  • On that jump the car lost so many pieces It just continued the race weighting less :-P

  • lol yea

  • nice

  • Geez, poorly timed delivery of notes. I know every driver wants notes called differently, but I cannot see how ANY driver would want them called like that.

When she 's just sitting there saying nothing, say it again woman, remind the man whats coming up!

  • not tanners fault, but chrissie is usually solid at readin notes. i honestly think that these evo X's can beat the new sti's the evos put the power down so much better. oh man imagine ACP in a developed evo X. the 9 is still holdin up though.

  • I'd fire Chrissie Beavis ..."right 4 over crest"(1:34) Late call. NO warning. Have you ever been driving & someone in the car says, "TURN RIGHT HERE", as you're going past the turn? SAME THING !!!

Then...She starts calling WAY to early, to try & compensate...but that just fucks Tanner up. Now he has to drive & ask her to repeat.(3:09) To save time...I'd pull over & let her OUT !!!

  • It seems that the co-driver forgot to say "over crest" to that right hand bend.

  • how does a car built for road be good on sand, im talking about clearnce?

  • adjustable suspension mate

  • do they have a horsepower limit like in wrc racing?

  • i guess they don't have only 2 Litres engine

  • Rallying is pain!

  • That EVO's got some ballz......

  • Your still lacking a life, sucks right?

  • FUCK YOU GAY ASS HUNK!!

  • sounds like the car is gonna fall the fuck apart

  • anyone else hear the rod knock after the big hit?

  • Propshaft on exhaust

  • I don't think so.....

  • I think he might need a new co driver

  • don't worry we just jumped 10 feet in the air and hit a tree, keep going.

  • looks like he came in to fast and under steered and tried to compensate with the ebrake a little to better the angle and hope for traction but wasnt able to grip and went off course..

i think this cause he wanted the back to come out and didnt turn towards the corner cause he knew the front 2 wheels were lost at that point. Just my opinion great video

  • all parents did walk to school. my grandpa said he walked 10 miles uphill to get there and 10 miles uphill to get home.

  • She seem'd a little early on some but still did a great job.

  • I  Beavis! Nice Job on staying calm and focused the whole time.

  • Total Class Act!! She didn't miss a beat and apologized between instructions! What a great in-car! The race was awesome!! Can't wait for next year!!

  • What helmets are they wereing?

  • Peltor is the brand of helmet, not sure on the style. they have a very nice headset and mic built into the helmet.

  • THROUGH THE TREE LOL!!!!

    rallying is awesome

  • More EVO X on-board videos!!!! :D

  • Barely any time wasted ....great recovery

  • Foust is a good driver and Beavis is sexy!

  • haha AWESOME!

  • Cut right thru the turn into a tree lol. Still did a pretty good job. 5*

  • but it is designed to prevent too much forward or backward movements , not side to side one.

  • Exactly it's meant to restrict forward movement of the head, not side to side.

  • hans device sucks.

  • I was at this, loved it tanner is awesome.

  • damn...chrissie made a HUGE mistake with that note. way way too late. by the time she said it they were too fast for the corner.

  • Good video editing. One tough lick - HANS didn't stop the co-drivers head from going side - to -side.

  • nice recovery.
