There never will be communism. Just the workers and the fat bastards who lord over them. Remember the USSR? Did any of those "leaders" live like the workers? Did Mao? In communism there is no middle class. Just the well off and the working slobs.
@cutuquick11 Well, I wouldn't say these guys were the ordinary people. They were the educated, and well known people. The common people were different I'm sure , but in general the educated people were much more Principled and proper.
@faustuf A Washington Post study in 2008 found that 25% of Americans did not read a book in the past year. The same study found that of the top 25 most industrialized nations, the United States ranked no higher than 18th on tests of educational excellence. We were dead last in world history. But most of our citizens can tell you who won Dancing with the Stars and what color dress Oprah wore on Wednesday, so I think the media MIGHT have something to do with it.

@cutuquick11 John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, George Washington, etc. were not ordinary people. They were the wealthy elite; they were property owners who possessed educations far beyond those of "ordinary" people. In fact, the earliest administrations didn't want the ordinary people to have any political power. The federalists feared an undiluted democracy, and thought that mankind was too turbulent for the "ordinary" to be allowed to vote.
A reincarnation of the founding fathers is ron paul. Obama has corrupted america into more national debt by following bush's foreign policy plan. Ron Paul is not afraid to speak his mind because he speaks the truth about today's issues.
@tomthefunky "Only in America is our poorist... the fattest. Only in America, do the poor.... have the biggest wide-screen televisions and the most pairs of Nike's. What a wicked country America is. What a wicked, wicked country full of truly wicked people they are."
Only in America would a complete spoiled retard be allowed to say this shit. I'm sick of dumb cock suckers enjoying American freedoms and our quality of life while at the same time pissing on it. You are a ungrateful hypocrite.
@Housem323 dude communism, although to me is a broken system, was against the establishment and nobles. It set the poor and rich back on level terms. Everyone was in the working class, all equal. What you may be alluding to is dictatorship, which is why I say communism is broken because it's weakness is in the fact that dictatorship can easily find its way into the system and undo what it specifically came out to do in the first place, liberate the people.
@TheDybbob89 actually communism, as a type of society has never existed in the world. communism is defined as a stateless and classless society, all of the *supposed* communist countries still had governments and social divisions. so it can't be a broken system if never existed in the first place. communism would be considered the most democratic as the people govern themselves and are not subordinate to any hierarchy of authority.
@metalgearanarchist I know thats true in a sense. Marx wanted communism England but then the Unions sprout up so people never warmed up to the idea. But the reason why its broken comes down to the simple fact that in a philosophy such as communism where you assume 100% of the population is in favor of a certain system, you know that will break down. Not everyone is comfortable sharing everything (wealth, class), and just as in the case with fascism (right wing "communism") u get less freedoms
@TheDybbob89 Society could not go straight from a capitalist to a communist society. people would have to shed their competitive mentality and desire for hording commodities, thats why you would need a transition such as socialism. many uninformed people use the fallacy argument of human nature, but human nature is not fixed. capitalism essentially feeds on humanity's need for self-perseervation and instills in us the need for competition. our environment has alot to do with our competitive ways
@metalgearanarchist i know, what you say is true but did you try to consider nurture vs nature? I'm pretty sure its one of the more famous unsolved puzzles in the universe. What is human nature and how does it manifest itself? Labels such as inhuman and humane, if you think about it, are so ambiguous. Until we define exactly how humans behave, in my mind I personally think its premature to hold on to strict conservative or socialist ideals, so for now ill stick to being a progressive :)
@TheDybbob89 i dont see it that black and white, as if they are seperate issues. but rather they are grey, reliant on each other. i wouldn't say im strict or orthodox, im very much anti-dogmatic. i think if im to understand how society functions on both a microscopic and marcoscopic level i need to open my mind to new revelations. like bruce lee said, " be water my friend." and thats exactly how i look at my views, no communist was ever entirely right or wrong about the views of his day.
The United States of America was flawed from its very start. Our founders thought that the ideas of their time would survive to our time and the people of the United States would be smart enough to understand them. Sadly we have put our trust in a government that hasnt earned it. Notice our govt doesnt prevent 911 or Pearl Harbor. They simply allow us to seek revenge for them. Even though we pay for it with our wealth and our blood. THE ONLY WAR WORTH FIGHTING IS A WAR AGAINST A GOVERNMENT!
@Jononutoob You get an imaginary cookie if you can name for me a government in the history of mankind that ISN'T flawed in some way. That said, if the US government these days would stick to the principles upon which it was founded, we'd be able to trust in it a lot more easily. I still don't hold the entire government at fault for allowing our enemies to attack us, though; only part of it. Not much use in making broad generalizations.
You people sicken me to use this comment thread as a place to use your lame ass childish hate spam. This speech is what set us apart from colonists to revolutionaries. Have some fucking dignity and respect and show appreciation when needed you failures.
Something dark has taken shape on the world stage after world war 2. Nazisum, and communism were born as a means to revers and kill the Enlightenment for the order of Skull and bones. They are not what they seem and have created a slave mind in many people around the world. They want a commonwealth again were LORDS run us on bloodlines of those who killed the widows son.
Well its hard to swallow but the USA is dead and has a death date, September 11 2001. That is were the minds were turned to the magiK trick and not the puppet masters. Its a large chess game for them or a game of risk with us as the pawns and knights.
@Viothon Stop bitching on youtube and go do something about it. The framers didn't sit at home whimpering, they got out there and made Independece happen. Put yourself into the thick of it and you can enact change - it's the most gracious feature of this country.
@LadYGu3N Good man, i commend you for sharing a rightful peace of mind, and commend the 22 people that supported your comment so that everyone can see it first and foremost before sharing their diminutive slander.
@LadYGu3N yes your right, but i hate when people talk about SOME founding fathers like they were great ppl when they were hypocritics and so many others things, but i wont say it cause im a lady:)
liberty? another abstract..and that is the world of imaginations...abstracts without concrete providing concrete meaning r imaginations...
if he means "liberty" as it is represented in the statue of liberty, then that means freedom from the Way of Yahweh and slavery to the ways of satan..because the statue of liberty is made to be a sun goddess...
This has to be the best speech I've seen. Just replace king with president and re context it to current times. Isn't this what our country is becoming the opposite of when it was created? Is the government just like Britain back then?
"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were. . . . the general principles of Christianity.”—John Adams to Thomas Jefferson on June 28, 1813--John Adams, The Works of John Adams, Second President of the United States, Charles Francis Adams, editor (Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1856), Vol. X, pp. 45-46
I just got to say...shit! I forgot...good show though....david mccullough...spell check that name...but anyway he's an awesome writer...check out his other books...bunch of 'em...
I look at the brilliance of our founding fathers and then I see corrupt leaders like Obama, Pelosi, and Reid applaud, bow, and appologize to tyrants and wonder what ever happened to good leadership?... It's kind of depressing...
@badger5566 You don't seem to know anything about our founding fathers. I bet you get your information from Glen Beck? Try actually reading what Thomas Paine wrote. MUCH closer that Obama than Beck, or any conservative out there.
A true American. We had eight years of HELL with the worst dictator in the history of the world, George Bush, who basically handed Obama a ticking time bomb that has exploded into an oil spill...
@roccovaleriano: Worst dictator in the history of the world? You must be out of your fucking MIND. Incompetent yes but dictator? What a stooge. Congress has more power than the executive branch you imbecile so how can you declare the President to be a dictator. Did he suspend free speech, freedom of religion? The right to protest? Move to North Korea idiot, then get back to us about dictators.
@espada9 Look up the "kill switch bill" proposed by Joseph Lieberman that gives barack obama the power to shut down the internet if he feels something is a "threat" to national security. Worst since the patriot act violating our constitution. Nancy Pelosi once said "If we cannot kick down the door, we will jump over the wall, if we cant do that then we will parachute in." congress is becoming more and more insignificant. A government that does not listen to the people is a tyrannical one.
@roccovaleriano : I'm a moderatly liberal man who really thinks Bush was a fool and disliked his political beliefs, but he is was no dictator. Republicans and conservatives are not evil. They just have a different dream and idea of America. They love America as much as us.
@chufuss You cannot paint them all with the same brush, but Republicans in general don't believe in helping others, just themselves, based on their platform. Unless you are growing in a woman's uterus.
@LoriAretz : I agree. My point was that Bush was not a dictator. They believe in helping other but they want the church and private organizations to help. Not the government. I disagree with them. I believe it is the role of the government
@chufuss Maybe I'm being unfair, but I don't believe that Republicans, in general, want to help people, even through private organizations. I can't tell you how many Repubs I know who have characterized the unemployed and uninsured as "lazy, wanting handouts." It makes me sad.
@LoriAretz : That's just their own ignorance. It justifies them taking money away from social service programs. They also don't see the cause of poverty as systemic but with the individual. Makes me sad also. I'm a social worker and I can say in my experience most people want to work. Very few want "hand-outs". Most claim to be Christians also and want "God in the government", but they don't want the government to take of the poor.
@chufuss You're a rube. The people who go hat-in-hand to your knicked and wobbly desk, and beg for sustenance have jobs: they work off the books or scam money from other sources. You really should get out of the office and pal around with your little Oliver Twists, they're more complicated than you think. (Yeah, I'm a bastard and How-dare-I... These people are my friends and relatives. Grow up.)
@CARDUELIS999 : First off I am CPS investigator asshole. I work with children who have been sexually abused or beaten like animals. I see things you could not even begin to immagine, or deal with. I witness poverty that most Americans don't even know exsist...and the government doesn't just give out checks anymore. Sorry your friends and relatives are rats that are lazy. You can not over generalize and assume all poor are like them.
@chufuss I'm sorry to hear that you're a "CPS investigator asshole". (The morning after the CPS Chili-Fest must be especially tough.) You seem to think that I fill out forms for a living, and that am unfamiliar with the "poor." Chufuss, you're worse than a rube. You're a self-pitying pencil-pusher who fantasizes your own heroism. The only "poor" people in America are those who've drugged themselves into such a state. I do agree that their kids suffer for the parents' pathologies.
@CARDUELIS999 : So what great things do you do to contribute to society? What makes you a better citizen. I see you are ignorant and I assume you lack an education. You should see someone about all this hate in your heart, or go to church.
@chufuss yeeeeh...get a buncha cold ones...wear a funny shirt and turn up the radio...lol......most importantly...turn the ringer off on the phone! be good!
@Sonofliberty1000 : I'm with you, but the problem was that I had a buzz on when I wrote all this crap. Some people drunk dile old girlfriends. I get on youtube
@chufuss I do the same thing. Ohhhh, i feel better about myself...lol...I get up the next morning like..."oh, god, what did I type this time"...oh well...good news is we gotta be drunk to say somethin silly...alotta people just do it n e way...lol
@roccovaleriano Hey Genius, I'm going to basically just say what espada said: Move to North Korea, Iran, Somalia, Venezuela, or Zimbabwe, then get back to me about 'dictators.' Yeah, and the oil spil was totally Bush's fault.... Im sure he took a motor boat out to the platform and riddled it with C4...
Also this whole equal chance idea that affluent people like to talk about this work for everything you get fantasy republicans and like to talk about has never existed in this country period. It has been a slanted system from the beginning and it continues to be to this day. If most of you researched things for yourselves on the issues you complain about you would see that you have been had the truth is allot uglier than you realize, and by the way Obama isn't the anti-christ you idiots.
there was once balls in boston.. that is gone now.. i guess.. perhaps the kennedys stole it who knows... but at one time in this nations past there was some TRUE Balls in Boston,, and it helped lead a ;people to freedom from oppression... now they help lead folks to OPPRESSION!
Tomorrow is a state holiday here in Massachusetts...patriots day. Want to know how it is celebrated?? Sure there is the boston marathon and a red sox game, but there is also at 5:30 am a renactment in the town of lexington of a battle between the british and american colonists...complete with costumes and muskets on the very same ground where it happened. Adams' farm is just outside of Quincy (a town name for his son who also became president). Treasure that.
Perhaps this sounds silly but this speech always makes me cry. It's like, FINALLY!!, the message of true equality & harmony is being spoken. No democrat here, or republican over there, but just honest admission of what is right. ALL PEOPLE DESERVE THE RIGHT TO THE BASICS AFFORDED BY OUR MAKER & if it be denied or compromised by our government, neighbors, family or otherwise, it's time to say "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!!"
@badger5566 shut the fuck up. the founding fathers understood liberty but what they were really after was glory for themselves. john adams was the least egotistical of them. thomas jefferson was the worst. Barack Obama is mother fucking lawyer so if the Constitution is the profound doctrine that defines liberty and Obama is a lawyer, senator and president you would have a pretty damn good idea of what liberty is. sorry if he wants to take your guns away.
@badger5566 you put john adams and the founders like they were all on the same page on what america should be. if that was true why did they bitterly fight each other on politics(federalists vs republican democrats) after independence. you think obama's progressive?..lol thomas jefferson owned a quran, john adams didnt believe christ was God(he was unitarianist), jefferson was even ridiculed for his support of the french. and what was the big shocker when he was president?..no war, more schools!
@badger5566 pt 2..liberty is what gives you the right to question your government. and obamas right to lead if the people so choose him which they have. while bush single handedly destroyed our country why didnt any conservatives attack him? its funny republicans appeal to the poor and middle class by scaring them that the democrats will take there freedom, but republicans dont do shit for the middle class but give them the taxes and cut taxes for the rich.
@badger5566 Because Obama and his minions, along with most of the government, is owned in total by the elite banking aristocracy that seek to enslave humanity (Iceland and Greece were just the foreplay). The Revolutionary battle against King George and the British although courageous and brilliant, pales in comparison to the Tyranny we now face. And aside from Ron Paul, we have no Jefferson, Franklin or Adams.
I would suggest you read his whole speech, which is called "Clarendon No. 3". Socialism, as it has been practiced, at least in Europe and in America, is not liberty. It hoist an elite, an almost aristocratic elite, who feel that because of their education, at some of the most overrated universities in the universe, that they are superior to other people and should rule over the so-called intellectually inferior people. That is Socialism, and it will not reign in America!
@kepler1000 So you're comparing 18th century European socialism to modern day progressive policies? Thats like comparing the Republican party of Lincolns time (which strengthened the power of the federal government supressing so called states rights) and the democratic party of the 1960's American south which was in favor of Jim Crow but supported a black candidate for president. Your theory is flawed and non sensical my friend.
No, what I am comparing is Aristocratic Europe of the 18th century with modern 20th and 21st century socialism. Modern progressive socialism is the means by which a select elite rule over the masses. I don't care what they claim they are trying to do, like helping poor people, because at every stage they use justifications just like that to reduce individual liberty of the citizens and in turn increase their own power. The public servant is now an entitled position, forever.
@kepler1000 Stop listening to Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity and that fat shit Rush Limbaugh bro. If any "elites" are trying to turn the masses against each other and trying to supress them its those idiots. Yeah, they're making millions a year while you make $40,000. Think about that, they're really speaking for the working class. Give me a break.
It has nothing to do with them, and I don't care who they speak for, I am simply pointing out a fact. What do you think the leaders of the progressive cause make? I can assure it is a lot of money. They tell you to fight their battles and you do. You are a cog, but I can tell you this you are not an individual, you are just a group to used, and when no longer useful they will dump you. They might throw you a few bones to make you happy, but nothing more.
@kepler1000 Of course some progressive leaders are wealthy. You didnt think I knew that? But at least they walk the walk and use thier positions for some good. Unlike (which I know you're quoting) the rights leaders who say that if you're not wealthy your a piece of shit. Who do you think I'm going to side with? The wealthy who would like to see everyone living a decent life or the wealthy who only want to see their own kind moving up? Stop spewing non sense bro.
Are You Kidding! Obama was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he don't know jack about working a 9-5 job, or running a business, or really doing anything. What has he given you? Words. People like me don't give a shit how much money you make, but I have a right to eat what I want, to choose to have or not have health care, to be an individual, not some idiotic tributary slave, like you seem to want to be. They don't want you moving up, they want you right where you are. Forever.
@kepler1000 BTW I fight my own battles. No one tells me to do a damn thing. I choose who and where to support. If those bones you speak of are a shot at an education, healthcare, safe streets and a job I'm all good with that. You're a faceless profile. I dont like arguing w/ faceless profiles because it makes me feel the person I'm talking to is a coward or has something to hide. Good luck commie hunting or whatever it is you think you're doing.
You want people to tell you how to live your life, you are a progressive foot soldier. That means you like to be told what to eat, who to hate, what group you are a part of, and trust the word of your government appointed doctor like it was the word of god. You like that you life is set out, neat and clean. No need to think. Your not high enough on the food chain, no Harvard or Yale degree, so it can't be because you like telling other people how to live or for power.
@kepler1000 BTW if you dont like socialism stop using the socialistic police, force, fire department and public library. Have you ever gone to a PUBLIC school or used PUBLIC highways? Guess what kepler, you're a socialist, thats what socialism is my friend, welcome to the club. We hand out ID cards too, its called a drivers license and SOCIAL security card. Good luck bro I'm tired of this.
There is a difference between government spending on projects like highways, police and the fire dept. They have a defined need, of which everyone in the community uses and has voted for. Things like national health care, which forces people to give their health history to government is not one of them. There have been too many cases in history of it being misused. Hitler is good example in Germany, and in Britain, Alan Turing and his treatment is another. Highways don't do that.
To put this simply, there is a place for government projects, but not (1) when it infringes on basic freedoms in the constitution/bill of rights, (2) when you don't have enough money or credit to do the projects.
DeucleMP2 your side fails on both 1 & 2. BTW I never said I was a conservative, I am more of what was once called a classical liberal = fiscal conservative, social liberal. Right now your side is more dangerous to the basic liberties of Americans, just saying...
@kepler1000 HAHAHAHA!!! Deuce really got under you skin to reply so many times huh douchebag? how about you do what he says show something on your profile, i checked his shit out and hes in the army so he must love america more then you fucknuts. DEUCEMP2 FTW, faggot ass, bitch ass Kepler1000 FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is question for you to ponder, and related to this video....Benedict Arnold was in the army as well, does that mean he was more patriotic than John Adams?
Don't think too hard Gassem32, don't want you to hurt yourself!
@kepler1000 LOL!!! your a faceless punk ass bitch, dont try comebacks faggot you only look gayer. tell your mom i said hi and i hope the pregnancy test comes back negative. if it doesnt its not mine.
@badger5566 yeah the liberty that would allow a black man to become president right? Please stop making yourself look like a fool. And before you call me an american hating liberal just know that I've served in this nations army for ten years and served in two of its conflicts.
But the people of Ireland have been repressed up until recently. John Adams knew that. He knew the colonies would be just like Ireland, stripped of resources and beaten down into almost submission.
I think Adams would have said that he wanted the same rights as all British subject (which the colonists saw themselves as).
For most of the 18th century, Britiain was the freest country in the world with the right to elect Parliament and the freedoms granted to them in the 1689 Bill of Rights.
Adams and the other founding fathers wanted to be treated the same as people in Britain. When the British government refused, they declared independence and took freedom for themselves.
The people of Britain are not, and never have been, free. As long as we have a monarchy, an unelected house of "lords", the EU superstate, socialism and other factors such as the people thinking our rights come from government, and not God, then we'll never be free.
It is the democratically elected House of Commons and Prime Minister who run this country. The monarchy has no power whatsoever and the Lords can only amend laws with the approval of the Commons. Socialism lost power in the UK in 1979 and it hasn't come back since.
Agreed, regarding the monarchy. It's pretty pointless. However, our second chamber isn't even elected by the people! We're not socialist? Last time I checked, we have government-run healthcare, schools, media, a central bank and countless other quangos, not the mention insanely high taxes (both stealth and obvious) and massive national debt and unfunded liabilities. Socialism is here - not to the extent that it could be but certainly far, far to high.
The House of Lords contains experts in their fields like Robert Winston who can add to legislation that deals with their fields. Such people wouldn't want to get involved with party politics.
Since when is having free schooling and universal heathcare socialism? Education and access to medical treatment is a right.
The UK has a massive financial service sector and a free market economy. This doesn't seem like socialism to me.
Hmm, we don't have a free market economy. As long as there's a central bank that has a monopoly over the production and allocation of money, the market won't be free. Inflating the supply always leads to mal-investment and a new financial bubble.
Free education and free healthcare cannot be rights. They are government entitlements. Though I think we see "rights" in different ways. To me, rights come from natural law, are self-evident and cannot be changed, created or taken away.
Regarding the House of "Lords". Well, I believe that the people who create or ammend the laws that affect the citizens of the country should be subject to the opinion and judgement of the citizens.
As the for the monarchy. Well, I can live with that. They don't have much significance anyway - though they are useful for tourism...
All amendments added by the House of Lords have to be agreed to by the elected Commons. So the UK is just as free as any country with an elected unicameral legislature.
In recent decades, the House of Lords has protected civil liberties in the UK more than any court or the government.
If the Lords had been elected they would have been subject to the party whips a lot more than they are and so they wouldn't have allowed to block several undemocratic laws, like 42-day-detention.
I wish liberty would reign once again in America :(

Housem323 1 year ago 38
@Housem323
So the idea that a few nobles don't inherent the earth is disliked by communists?
eaterHP 6 months ago
@Housem323 dude communism, although to me is a broken system, was against the establishment and nobles. It set the poor and rich back on level terms. Everyone was in the working class, all equal. What you may be alluding to is dictatorship, which is why I say communism is broken because it's weakness is in the fact that dictatorship can easily find its way into the system and undo what it specifically came out to do in the first place, liberate the people.
TheDybbob89 6 months ago
@TheDybbob89 actually communism, as a type of society has never existed in the world. communism is defined as a stateless and classless society, all of the *supposed* communist countries still had governments and social divisions. so it can't be a broken system if never existed in the first place. communism would be considered the most democratic as the people govern themselves and are not subordinate to any hierarchy of authority.
metalgearanarchist 5 months ago
@metalgearanarchist I know thats true in a sense. Marx wanted communism England but then the Unions sprout up so people never warmed up to the idea. But the reason why its broken comes down to the simple fact that in a philosophy such as communism where you assume 100% of the population is in favor of a certain system, you know that will break down. Not everyone is comfortable sharing everything (wealth, class), and just as in the case with fascism (right wing "communism") u get less freedoms
TheDybbob89 5 months ago
@TheDybbob89 Society could not go straight from a capitalist to a communist society. people would have to shed their competitive mentality and desire for hording commodities, thats why you would need a transition such as socialism. many uninformed people use the fallacy argument of human nature, but human nature is not fixed. capitalism essentially feeds on humanity's need for self-perseervation and instills in us the need for competition. our environment has alot to do with our competitive ways
metalgearanarchist 5 months ago
@metalgearanarchist i know, what you say is true but did you try to consider nurture vs nature? I'm pretty sure its one of the more famous unsolved puzzles in the universe. What is human nature and how does it manifest itself? Labels such as inhuman and humane, if you think about it, are so ambiguous. Until we define exactly how humans behave, in my mind I personally think its premature to hold on to strict conservative or socialist ideals, so for now ill stick to being a progressive :)
TheDybbob89 5 months ago

Jononutoob 1 year ago
@Jononutoob You get an imaginary cookie if you can name for me a government in the history of mankind that ISN'T flawed in some way. That said, if the US government these days would stick to the principles upon which it was founded, we'd be able to trust in it a lot more easily. I still don't hold the entire government at fault for allowing our enemies to attack us, though; only part of it. Not much use in making broad generalizations.

John Adams and the founders understood liberty. Why can't fools like Obama understand?
badger5566 1 year ago 2
@badger5566 shut the fuck up. the founding fathers understood liberty but what they were really after was glory for themselves. john adams was the least egotistical of them. thomas jefferson was the worst. Barack Obama is mother fucking lawyer so if the Constitution is the profound doctrine that defines liberty and Obama is a lawyer, senator and president you would have a pretty damn good idea of what liberty is. sorry if he wants to take your guns away.
adrocker34 1 year ago
@badger5566 you put john adams and the founders like they were all on the same page on what america should be. if that was true why did they bitterly fight each other on politics(federalists vs republican democrats) after independence. you think obama's progressive?..lol thomas jefferson owned a quran, john adams didnt believe christ was God(he was unitarianist), jefferson was even ridiculed for his support of the french. and what was the big shocker when he was president?..no war, more schools!
tksmurf 1 year ago
@badger5566 pt 2..liberty is what gives you the right to question your government. and obamas right to lead if the people so choose him which they have. while bush single handedly destroyed our country why didnt any conservatives attack him? its funny republicans appeal to the poor and middle class by scaring them that the democrats will take there freedom, but republicans dont do shit for the middle class but give them the taxes and cut taxes for the rich.
tksmurf 1 year ago
@badger5566 Because Obama and his minions, along with most of the government, is owned in total by the elite banking aristocracy that seek to enslave humanity (Iceland and Greece were just the foreplay). The Revolutionary battle against King George and the British although courageous and brilliant, pales in comparison to the Tyranny we now face. JaredMorgenstein 1 year ago
@JaredMorgenstein
That is Socialism, and it will not reign in America!
kepler1000 1 year ago
@kepler1000 So you're comparing 18th century European socialism to modern day progressive policies? Thats like comparing the Republican party of Lincolns time (which strengthened the power of the federal government supressing so called states rights) and the democratic party of the 1960's American south which was in favor of Jim Crow but supported a black candidate for president. Your theory is flawed and non sensical my friend.
DeuceMP2 1 year ago
@DeuceMP2
The public servant is now an entitled position, forever.
kepler1000 1 year ago
@kepler1000 Stop listening to Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity and that fat shit Rush Limbaugh bro. If any "elites" are trying to turn the masses against each other and trying to supress them its those idiots. Yeah, they're making millions a year while you make $40,000. Think about that, they're really speaking for the working class. Give me a break.
DeuceMP2 1 year ago
@DeuceMP2
They might throw you a few bones to make you happy, but nothing more.
kepler1000 1 year ago

Words. They don't want you moving up, they want you right where you are. Forever.
kepler1000 1 year ago
@kepler1000 BTW I fight my own battles. No one tells me to do a damn thing. I choose who and where to support. DeuceMP2 1 year ago
@DeuceMP2
You want people to tell you how to live your life, you are a progressive foot soldier. That means you like to be told what to eat, who to hate, what group you are a part of, and trust the word of your government appointed doctor like it was the word of god. You like that you life is set out, neat and clean. No need to think. Your not high enough on the food chain, no Harvard or Yale degree, so it can't be because you like telling other people how to live or for power.
kepler1000 1 year ago
@kepler1000 BTW if you dont like socialism stop using the socialistic police, force, fire department and public library. Have you ever gone to a PUBLIC school or used PUBLIC highways? Guess what kepler, you're a socialist, thats what socialism is my friend, welcome to the club. We hand out ID cards too, its called a drivers license and SOCIAL security card. Good luck bro I'm tired of this.
DeuceMP2 1 year ago
@DeuceMP2
Highways don't do that.
kepler1000 1 year ago
@DeuceMP2

Britiain has been a Parliamentary democracy since 1689. People in Britain of the 18th century had freedom and liberty, but the colonies did not.
Medeasbiggestfan 2 years ago
Neither did Ireland.
brisco42 2 years ago
Wasn't Ireland classed as a British coloney until 1801?
Medeasbiggestfan 2 years ago
But the people of Ireland have been repressed up until recently. John Adams knew that. He knew the colonies would be just like Ireland, stripped of resources and beaten down into almost submission.
brisco42 2 years ago
I think Adams would have said that he wanted the same rights as all British subject (which the colonists saw themselves as).
For most of the 18th century, Britiain was the freest country in the world with the right to elect Parliament and the freedoms granted to them in the 1689 Bill of Rights.
Adams and the other founding fathers wanted to be treated the same as people in Britain. When the British government refused, they declared independence and took freedom for themselves.
Medeasbiggestfan 2 years ago

I said the monarchy was powerless, not pointless.
