(I also have this gun) The real glock 17 (used in the Austrian army) is made of Plastic and the pistol is High power and high grouping so it can take all kinds of gases, i use abbey ULTRA POWER gas and everything is working just fine. You shouldnt use matt-polished bbs thought!!! These bbs stick in the magazine and wont come up. Also watch out for oiling the gun inside!!! Theres a rubber thing inside the slide that will swallow and the slide wont come back all the way after shooting.

the only reason it hit the target close to the bulls eye is because you are in side and there is no wind. sooo you should make another video out side. that would be great!! :)

I have a PGC aluminum slide for my TM G17 and when i reassembled it it would get stuck at the same point on the slide whenever I would release the slide to go forward it would get stuck and I would have to hit it to make it go forward to fire again, I need to know what to file or what to do to get it to not do that?

first of all by far this video was not informative, and second of all ive had mine for a long time and i use green gas. it hasnt affected my blowback in any way. You defiantly dont know what you are talking about and you should take this video down. if anybody has questions about this gun you can ask me.

the mag release prob is not a prob its cos it is easy to press accidentaly so its good to be a little stiff. also if you use green gas with tokyo marui the silde will crack maybe that's what happened to yours

Good review in overall, but i think that the target should be a little better next time. Also, don't forget that if you had the gun stabilized it would give standard results, while if you keep it they are affected by your skill.

it's true man, many companies makes extra parts, and glock 17 is a very popular gun. you can get metal slides for almost any brand of glock 17.

and tokyo marui glock 18 comes in plastic. if you've seen somthing else, then it's extra parts.

I run mine with propane fine, no problems, I don't know what you mean by "flimsy" plastic. Mag release is no problem, I don't want my mags falling out by accident. Also, you may want to pull some free targets off the web, I mean, there are plenty on Google Images.

Resting the pistol on something may have helped steady your shots and given a better indication of how accurate this pistol is.

the hop up makes sure the bullet flys straight by adding or taking off backspin

hop hup creates a depression over the bb so it makes it spin and planes. Like that, the better it spins and planes, the further the bbs are goign to go, but hell slower if too much !!!

Why wouldnt you be able to play with it? this is about 300fps or so, people play with sniper rifles at 500fps. Even 300 or so with a gbb can hurt, if it hits you at a bad place (ie teeth,lips,eyes). Wear protection!

to adjust it, I believe you tap on the sites with the back of a screw driver or something and it'll move, but I'm not sure as I have never touched the sights, but I have on my KWA, and tapping the sights on my KWA will make the sight move.

Yes you can get upgrades slides for it, just make sure you get one that's compatible with the TM glock. $150 is on the more expensive side, you can get a TM glock for slightly cheaper than that.

I payed 150€ In Finland. This weapon looks and sounds really good. This has the Hardkick right? Well does it kick? :P.... Umm do you put the gas in the Magazine? If you do, what if you run out of gas while you still got bullets? does the Slide go forward? And, if the Gas Chamber is full and i still try to put gas in it, will i break it?i have to use some silicone and some other stuff like that when i go airsoft. i already got Ak Beta Spetsnaz and its really good, hope this one is too.Nice Review

Yes the gas goes into the magazine, and the slide will only lock back when you are out of BBs.

nice review, but just for the record, you mentioned about the magazine not falling free when you hit the release that happens with real Glock 17's as well. The reason being the older mags lacked a metal liner at the feed lips of the mag. these were called "non drop free"

my guess would be ur's does it cuz it being airsoft dosen't have the the metal lips.

I bought this at Fry's electronics. You should be able to find it at a hardware or computer store. Unfortunately I do not know of any websites that sell Duster gas.

depends on gas. Duster gas(the weakest) gives about 280 fps with .20g bbs. with propane/green gas is generally around 300-310 fps, and red gas(do not use with this gun)gives almost 370-380 for most gas blowbacks.

keep in mind that FPS isn't everything, especially in a sidearm. I've seen stock Marui AEGs outrange stock CA's, JGs, Echo 1's, etc.

It's about the consistency of the barrel, compression in the airflow parts, and quality of the hopup bucking.

Have you got the upgrade Green dot sights for it? i love this pistol, everytime i go out and play wargames it's in my knee hoster with 2 pistol clips as back up.. no Prob nice Pistol for around 180$ great buy, Green gas Works fine for me but the duster gas i'll look in to that

Buy a metal slide :). Guarder ones are only about $60, or if you wanted a really nice one you could get a Shooter's Design slide which cost about $120.
