  • Personally I liked her beam and bars routines better than Nadia's. She was better than Nelli Kim I thought and should have had the all around silver and the gold on the beam. IMHO.

  • It is a perfect 10!

  • I think this routine deserved the perfect 10 too! lovely

  • I saw her in competition successfully do a RO-ff-back tuck. Does anyone have the vid?

  • I think the 1979 World University Games (which Teodora won over the Soviets) was her last competition going by old IG1 back issues.

  • Beautiful routine, it flows wonderfully. The straddle level walkover out mount is still being used today. And I love Teo's double rotation in splitshandstand; very nice.

  • her form was as good as nadia's on bars and beam. Her beam just wasn't quite as difficult as nadia's, but I think she deserved the silver on beam over korbut.

  • @lostlyrarose i think it was probably about the same difficulty because nadia had the aerial walkover but teo had the split handstand with 1 1/2 rotation which would make them about equal

nadia's dismount was harder though but teo had the half turn to back walk-over from sitting position while nadia's had no turn

i'd say they were pretty equal

  • Over thirty years ago!

  • Should have been a 10

  • There's a name people don't hear much. Kudos here, too. A very fluid, graceful routine. I like how each movement flows so smoothly into the next.

  • She coaching Sabrina Vega, who was on the US WAG Team in 2011. I saw Teodora on TV congratulating Sabrina after a good routine.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this
