Plus, doing self promotion is what helps you to make $ off your hobby on YouTube! It's not nearly as bad as the vids from those big company channels that have real TV ads in the beginning that you cannot skip!

I continue to support him and have not unsubscribed to him as at the end of the day he is my friend and I will continue to support him. However, the more recent videos did feel more like commercials for BBTS than an actual review. Now I do not dislike BBTS (In fact I have no feelings)..
..that is all. It's Shawn's account and he can use it to put up whatever he wants (Same as everybody else). Wht's wrong with that? However that does not mean I will watch every video that comes out. That is my proogorative as a viewer. I expect the same from people who watch my own stuff. At the end of the day, if we are truely happy with the videos we put out, then that is what matters. We do this primarily for us.
Can I make a suggestion? Try the TJ Omega approach. Stick it at the end of the video, and give people an option over whether or not they have to hear about it. PErsonally, that's the issue for me. Advertise if you want, but give us an option of being able to watch your videos without having things sold to us throughout, while still including your advertisement.
Adding a logo and "selling out" can be seen as the same thing, even when they are not. By adding a logo which, from what I understand is to do with Articulation Times who are essentially garnering more viewers for you, then hells yeah. If more people have the chance to watch your videos and see what you have to say, then that's just great in my opinion. And then we come to the morality of not having any ads while we talk about toys created by a super-massive corporate organistation.
Dude, I love your vids. I would never be upset of you advertised something else. I do it all the time! It doesn't do any good and no one listens to me anyway, but no one gets hurt in that. Who would be upset by that?
I will continue to watch and continue to enjoy your output here on YT. To be honest I have never been to articulation times and I may just check it out to be honest but that's only because I wasn't even aware of it before you mentioned it. lol

You speak I think for alot of us out there Touya, I mean our reviews should be just that, our reviews and someone's opinion of them shouldn't change because we put an advertisement intro or ending to the video promoting a company, ad etc. Yes there of course will always be extremes of anything and I admit some may over promote or advertise a specific company, at the end of the day though if any one of us is able to find financial gain or sponsorship from what we love doing, is that wrong?
