This parade happens once a year, it just took 1min 50 seconds to walk past an individual spot. I assume the entire parade takes less then 5mins in total to walk up that part of the Crrmlin road past Ardoyne shop-fronts.

So why does 3/400 people come out onto the streets and riot for 3 days running? Its totally bigoted, it has to be pure sectarianism and if not then just criminals on drugs with nothing better to do

First of all it wasn't Prod v Catholic...around half of King Williams army were Roman Catholics from Europe !!

Secondly Catholic St. Patrick's day parades happen across the country every March and no-one has any problem with it. So why not show the same respect for the 12th.

Thirdly the area this parade walks through isn't even populated by people, its mostly shops and the Orangemen/bands have a right to talk past this SHORT route on their way home to North Belfast.

See this is the problem, you truly don't understand what the 12th July is. I mean no offence but the 12th isn't to celebrate a Prod v Catholic battle that is something a primary school child might say.

Fact is that around HALF of King Williams army were Catholics from Europe. The 12th is to remember Ireland's biggest battle, but its also to remember the Civil and Religious freedom secured from that victory, and the establishment of the first British parliament under King William

@ar4216 This is the feeder parade which will later join in with the main parade where thousands line the streets of Belfast to celebrate our culture. This is the predominately Catholic area where there is no need for anyone to be out watching but they do so in order to cause tension and ultimately in the afternoon, hours of needless violence which lasts for days on end.
