NO WAY... pirates of the caribbean is the best movie out there hands down! cutthroat island has no good actors in it. pirates have johnny depp, keira knightley, orlando bloom, and geoffery rush, you cant ask for a better cast!! i saw cut throat island and i thought it was the gayest movie ever! pirates of the caribbean is the best hands down! so ha!

@xoxoDAVETANGOxoxo This movie had great music. The other two, I am not pleased by. This movie has such iconic music. Hans is still good though, if not amazing for his other work. But I have both "Curse of the Black Pearl" and "At World's end". I would rather listen to this and the others, than the "At World's End" Soundtrack, which seems to much like the same music monotone all the way through. Same with the Pacific soundtrack.

@xoxoDAVETANGOxoxo actually I have to disagree. Lord of the Rings is the best ever movie for me, and some of my favourite actors come from TV shows and Howard Shore is my favourite composer. I'll admit, I love a lot of soundtracks tho.

Pirates of the Caribbean didn't accomplish anything. It's a solid action series, but it pales in comparison to Star Wars, Indiana Jones, the Godfather.
