@cobrar123 freight locomotive comes off the track it will buckle under its own force. You run a freight train in to a mine truck head on collision, the train has more overall mass and its concentrated on to a smaller area (the size of the front of the train)

its like when someone lays on a bed of nails, the weight is spread out so much that it dosnt poke thru the skin, but lay on 1 nail and it penetrates.

Trains also faster but that gives no bonus because it hurts the train just as much

funny here now, not funny when it happens for real. I had a 27 year old cousin killed when his 1/2ton truck was ran over by a a mining truck. his job at night was to flash his lights when the big mine trucks where close to the edge they were dumping over. They would be backing right beside him. The driver of the big truck dozed off for a second turned the wheel and backed over the 1/2 ton from back to front. rapping it around the hugh tire like a sheet of steel. killed him instantly.
