Who's "we" and "our"...I thought Steve was single? Hmmmm...... (Also, doesn't the UK have yard sales?) It's common practice in the states to go through other people's stuff when it's been put to the curb.
@Furkin44 it wasnt on the crub, it was in his garden, in the uk front yards have walls and gates around, the incredulous thing was that he literally went onto the property. and in the uk we have boot fairs on sundays all the time, you just drive into a field and open the boot of your car with all your junk in for people to look at, loads of people turn up in their cars its like a big yard sale :)
@Arcadiah Ohhhhhh.....I listened to it again and I heard him say "boot sale", that's your version of a yard sale then? I think that's really cute, but what if you had sofa's, chairs and beds to sell, would'nt it be more efficient to have the sale at your home? Also who is the "we" he's talking about when he says they're cleaning out their junk...I thought he was a single man....no?
@Furkin44 yeah but, you would have to advertise people to come to your house at boot sales everybody who wants to buy comes from the area, not just like your road. dunno how it works in the US really I can only go by what ive seen on tv xD. reselling mattresses in the uk is illegal as far as im aware for health issues, but the actual frame could be taken in a van or whatever im sure :P
