Well yeah, no shit Holmes. I can also tell you that Han Solo shot first, that a stormtrooper hits his head on a rising door in A New Hope, and that George Lucas parodied that unintentional headbanging as Jango Fett escapes in the Slave I at the end of Clone wars.
Yeah well, the graphics were amazing! But as most people have said the fighting was just forced and it didn't look like they were really trying to hit each other. Amazing graphics though!
The graphics here are immence, kudos to the artist. However the fighting was slow, forced and clunky. Really needed some more work. Not to bad a vid tho bit tedious tbh
You've got skills...but please learn the martial arts! Ever since Obi wan Kenobi spun around in the first Star Wars duel against Darth Vader, fight choreographers have been doing this and it makes no sense! You never turn your back on your opponent! Let alone 3 times in one duel - to no purpose! If you do it's because you've been forced to, and not just something to look "cool."!
Dunno where you got the story about yellow lightsabers being better and banned for it, but its silly, if yellow sabres could cut through other ALL sith would use them.
The Jedi use sabers with crystals taken from a specific cave as part of their training. They have to go to the cave unarmed and build a lightsaber there. Those crystals are usually blue or green and purple is rarer.
The sith on the other hand have no such rite, and simply use synthetic crystals, which are always red due to the process used.
the cgi isn't bad, i couldn't do it better, but the duel was messed up. they weren't trying to hit each other, but they were just knocking the sabres together. Also, you dont bleed if you're hit by a lightsabre, the wound gets burned shut.
true true, I saw Art of the Saber right after this. I don't think Dorkman is better then Art though, art is awesome. If they combined Art fighting with the computer graphics of Duality I can almost guarantee you it would get air time on TV.
Digital effects and costume were pretty decent. The fight choreography could use some work. Remember that you use compact movements in actual fighting, but when you fight on film, you need to overexagerate your movements. The more subtle motions don't register on camera and the audience doesn't see it.
I think this was awesome as specially since they were computer generated that took a lot of stinkin work.Keep up the work and you might make up the next big space movie.(^o^)
Superb light sabre battle, very fast and fluent with some excellent acrobatic moves and unique twists during and at the end of the battle.
Not sure about the bloke with a paintball mask, didnt seem very Starwars like and the master laughed like Beavis and Butthead, but the other guy was spot on in costume design.
the guy who originally had the yellow duel weilded sabre was cool :D very well dont coreorgraphy i agree with Icpl but it was still very well put together
awesome. The fighting, was not more free though. Like how in the Star Wars movies they are usually walking and fighting. In here...they just seemed a little....stiff....but overall an AWESOME video!
Wow the ending...rather unexpected! Interesting...and some awesome FX. I only hope to be as great someday! And lol, the dude at the end...he seemed angry. Ha.
wow, a fan made movie with special effects, good fight choreography and actors that know decent martial art skills. Now THAT's what I call a true hardcore star wars fan!
Great video keep up the good work.

Very impresive, he CGI is amazing, the Choreography is off in a couple of places but that doesn't really detract. Nice ending as well.

This must be semi-professional because the first time I saw it was in Costco on their display tvs, so it must have some studio backing

Best amateur saber duel by far, no others come close.

Good, but the Ryan vs. Dorkman series and Art of the Saber is better.

Dude that was sick. I'm guessing you used bluescreen or greenscreen. Sick Spaceship. You could have made the fighting a bit more...dandier...

Pretty well done in all respects, but it's hard to do much with such impractical weapons. The double ended sabre thing just doesn't work.
WUZLE 4 years ago
The duel was so stupid!!! God, they look like the Star Wars kid x2!
cdo999 4 years ago
Graphics, ace. Flipping, ace. Fighting, lame. You notice that both fighters are aiming for each others saber blades not for each other.
