@silkcorset Haha. I've thought the same things. I know Maks&Tony, Mark's, and Lacey's are serious. They've talked about them in interviews before, and they tweet about it on Twitter sometimes. Go figure theirs are the most normal. Corky is weird enough to do something like smelling the floor, and it's usually pretty easy to tell when Derek's kidding around, and he doesn't seem to be. So as weird as some of those things are, I'm pretty sure they're serious.
@nikki27673 He is using a bit of sandpaper to roughen up the sole of Jennifer's shoes. Ballroom shoes from the heel to the midfoot is made up like a normal shoe, but from midfoot to the toes they have practically no bottom to them and is made up of almost pure leather so they're pliant and bendy. If you use them often enough the front part becomes too smooth, which in turn makes it slippery. Derek's roughening it up so that Jennifer doesn't slip on the smooth ballroom floor.
