  • haha.. sorry about the beard:)

  • Touch Osc vs Auto Map ? SL MK2 , Axiom Pro or an Ipad ?

... hmm and i still luv those Key station Pro's

even thou they dont have an auto map feature

  • I hope they update this for iPad!

  • dammit now i need an iphone!

  • can i use the usb cable?

  • The main problem with this is you MUST be in a wireless networt. It doesn't works via bluetooth or am I wrong????

  • yea thats what i was saying also!!! What if there is no wifi?

then your just out! They could have used something like blue tooth so u can allways be connected

  • So...

    This is how you can use it;

set your own network up with your computer, connect with your ipod to the network that your computer is sending signals of, and then just 'whoop!' :D

  • can i program drums with my i phone through this app. ? is it possible? they didnt show that on the website

  • it only works with wifi. 3rd party apps are not allowed to use the bluetooth.

  • uuhhmm.cool. Now what woud I do with this really?

  • Even on the Novation web site it fails to explain how this app communicates with the computer. I'm guessing it'll be bluetooth, which means that it'll only work with certain Apple hardware and you'll also need a bluetooth dongle on the PC.

Important info which really should be made clearer.

  • says it works with a touch as well, so i guess you have to be on the same wifi network....

  • I just tried it, you just start the novation "server" software and your phone/touch finds it via WiFi

I did not have to set up anything. after installing, it just worked right away.

  • so how does this work? does it need wifi to connect to your computer?

  • does it with with logic pro 8? and i can;t find the link on my itunes store.

  • Logic (of course) has its own way of doing things. Consequently, not all things in Logic are controllable using Automap. Most annoying, Logic's plugins wont communicate with Automap. Most other things do, i.e. Transport controls, Faders, Mute/solo buttons etc.

    Communicates over wifi.

  • yup i can't stand the fact that my remote sl doesn't work with my logic synths... ugh you would think the automap would be able to work around this.
