Oh hai! Have you tried anxiety zero technique (Go to anxiety0.info)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker pretty much cured anxiety with it.
Thank you for this, it's helped. I'm virtually paralysed with anxiety to the point where I get numbness in my face and am too disorientated and exhausted to do anything. I'm learning meditation but it's tricky to get my mind to remember how to do it when I'm having an attack...and this just makes me even more petrified. This video has made me feel more hopeful, especially as you say you suffered from anxiety attacks yourself and now to see you cured!!
@tipsytinkerbell I'm sorry to hear of your struggle. I know, I've been there. But healing from this problem is an 'inside job.' Remember that your thoughts got you into this mess, and it is your thoughts that can help you sail right out again. It's wonderful that you are working on meditation. Consider getting my book....it's even an ebook now so you can take it with you if you have a reader. Please keep working on yourself! Eat better, reduce stress and know you are stronger than you think! -K
I'm glad you liked my video. I think when we can see our problems differently, we can change our beliefs and then, we can change our lives....for the better. By the way, I liked your music--you are quite talented! Kathryn
@kathryntristan thank you so much! i had gone through some tough times and have been fighting through them, but wasn't winning. My music is good medicine, but it wasn't reducing the anxiety. Your videos have helped me understand what is going on and have me on track again! I appreciate the help very much!
@AdrianPain I'm glad I could offer you some other ideas. When you play your music, you are in 'flow'. Now, just have to get those stresses dealt with in a way that keeps you in 'flow.' A good way is to learn how to better deal with yourself and your reactions to your problems. If you swing back into anxiety, consider getting my book for some additional support. It's an easy read and hopefully very encouraging. Good luck!!
I hope you will continue to work on yourself and also deal with some of the problems that can cause your stresses, because that is often what seeds our anxieties. I truly understand the pain you suffered during those panic attacks. You are more courageous than you know! Please realize that you can get over panic...one little step and issue at a time. My book is good, so if you need it, it's available, too for more tools. My very best wishes to you!!
@pberrios0223 Thanks for your comment. I hope that my videos help with how to think differently, react differently and ultimately get over anxiety and panic. It all begins with wanting to get better, trying new and better ways to deal with stress and ultimately learning how to take a risk, safely and in small steps. They say the journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. I believe this! Best wishes to you.
None of you have to live with this anymore. I used to be a victim of this and I know the frustration, embarrassment and fear that is involved. Please go to my site. You dont need to buy anything, I promise you its already been paid for fuentesevangelism-.-c-o-m-
@dilusional1 Glad I could help. I bet you have a great sense of humor. That will help you not just with anxiety in general, but your life in particular. Good luck!
Thanks for your comment. As much as fear and anxiety disturb us, they can also be a call to action that asks us to pay more attention to who we truly are, to pay more attention to leading the life we dream about. You are truly stronger than you ever know you are. Your creativity, humor and sensitivity are the positive sides. Fear, lack of confidence and sadness can be the other. Remember to hear those negative, automatic thoughts, but hold them up to the light and disagree..say no more! Hugs.KT
I think it's marvelous the use that people like you make use of our mass mediums (which are much more often used to opposite effect): to communicate, aid, and express compassion to others. It's amazing so many are still alone in their problems when collectively we must have all the answers. I've recently realized that
Those are great points! We DO have the answers collectively and actually individually. My hope is to help others find their own truth and in doing so be able take steps to heal themselves. It's the journey, not the destination that counts!
Here, here - I agree with your message entirely. Please keep up the great work. And yes, Teddy Cops is a spoof on hard boiled action films I conjured during a Tuesday's boredom. Thanks very much for viewing and complementing!
I've always sort of struggled with mild anxiety, and to see (and hear) from someone like you - to have perspective on the state of anxiety - makes it less intimidating. Thank you.
You know, many of us have anxiety that ranges from mild to severe. Anxiety is normal and actually helpful. It's when it gets out of hand, or stops us from enjoying life that it elevates to the rank of 'problem.' My major message is to be aware of how your mind operates and learn to disagree with its negative musings and unrealistic fearful warnings. BTW, are those YOUR videos with the stuffed animals? They are incredibly creative! Loved them : )
What you feel is terribly painful. I know because I have felt what you feel. But, I can tell you that you can overcome not just some, but all of your fears. You can take back control of your life. Do it little steps at a time. Hear and challenge your thoughts. Be kind to yourself and realize that you are worthy of healing from this. Call upon your inner sources of wisdom and actually SEE yourself getting better. SEE yourself as strong and capable. Begin to believe it and you will see it! Hugs, K
Hello, thanks for your video I admire the way you work with your anxiety, Im 20 years old, and I've been suffering panic attacks around 3 almost 4 years by now, Im medicated for the second time but not even the medication is helping now, I feel I lost control of it, I don't want to be with pills the rest of my life, I want to be strong again. I'll be very thankfull to hear your advice. thank you (sorry If I didn't write it correctly, english isn't my native language).
Good for you! Stress pounds us from all sides. It's so much easier to give in to EARL mentality. You can help yourself by replacing those negative thoughts with something that is more positive, more PEARL-like, and more true! It's truly a matter of perspective and of replacing those negatives that pull you down into anxiety. You can help yourself and can better deal with all the stresses when you understand your PEARL and EARL sides. Keep at it, you can do it!! Check out my web site: Hugs, KT
The analogy of Pearl and Earl helped me put the actions going on in my brain into perspective. I had gone through a bad bought of anxiety two years ago and got it under control. However, I am going through it again and I am trying to regain control which is not so easy when your brain and heart are racing. But thank you for this video it gives me hope of regaining control over my anxiety again.
New book release by Dr Mark Taylor on Anxiety/Panic Attacks. View video on this top book at youtube channel 1earthone. Title: Global Epidemic The Fear That Cripples. Will be in bookstores in a few weeks. Available now online in paperback and ebook. 1earthone channel. Your not alone!
I'm glad my video was able to help. I have been through panic, high anxiety. But I learned some valuable lessons about how NOT to live my life and how TO live a happier and less stressful way. That's why I wrote the book "Anxiety Rescue" and why I'm doing posts. I'm hoping to help you, help yourself. Panic attacks are very painful and upsetting. But keep working on yourself.Consider subscribing to my channel as I plan to keep posting helpful ideas and new strategies. Hugs to you!
Glad you caught those last thoughts after my video. We often forget that we have a choice at all. Unfortunately, when we live in 'automatic mode' instead of 'aware' mode we can get stuck in the pit of fear and anxiety. When you learn that you actually always have a choice in how you think and react, you place the power back in your own hands. This is the first and most important way to begin recovery from anxiety, panic and fear. Thanks for your comment and happy 'choosing'.... Warmly, Kathryn
You are quite welcome. I hope it gave you something to think about and some ideas to use! Ultimately you walk your own walk through life. But, those who want to improve can do so by exploring what is true for them and how to improve yourself and your outlook!I will have more videos in the series soon. Stay tuned! My very best to you, Steven. -Kathryn
Just out of curiosity what are your qualifications because as a previous medical school student the neurons that you speak about in your heart have no scientific basis nor are supported by any actual medical evidence.
I did not discuss neurons in my talk, but rather neuropeptide receptors. The heart possesses a copy of every neuropeptide receptor that is found in the brain. This information is from Dr. Candace Pert the discoverer of endorphins. Actually many cells in the body also have neuropeptide receptors. One reference work you may wish to consult, aside from doing a more in-depth medline search, is Pert's book, "Molecules of Emotions." Thank you for your comment.
Great! Thank you for spending your time and i believe that a lot of people should listen to what you are saying and pay attention the way you are saying it. Its truly!
My imagination is reinforcing EARL to SUPEARL, but as i've learn about my self SUPEARL is one EARL & PEARL.
