I advice you to clean the radio. I've got one tube radio builded in 1975 with a record player and it's very clean. Always!!

Very nice set. I just restored a 1939 Victor K80 not to long back, still working on the woodwork. I tell you, it is like a disease -you restore one, and you can't stop!

The title is ( The All-American Five Radio, Understanding and Restoring Transformerless Radios of the 1940's, 50's and 60's ).
Try searching at Wal-Mart and Target also.
I have completed work on my second book, I think I may publish this one myself.

I just check and it doesn't look like Wal-Mart has it any more.
Go to eBay and search on, All American Five Radio
Usually there are about five stores selling it.

Awesome radio, did you get it working yet? still working on it? can you post a video of the radio when its fixed and up and running or are you making videos as you repair the unit

Yes, it is working and the owner has it now, so I will not be able to demo it. I just put up ( RCA Radio 280 part 3) of the repair. I have at least one move video to produce. It is an absolutely beautiful set and plays like new. AA5
