That reminds me of the duck pond we have on campus here. The ducks don't move in unison like that, but they do give you their undivided attention the moment they realize you have food for them.

They also drive each other away and pull at your pant leg to raise their chances of getting something. They still scatter if you act like you're going to grab 'em or something, though.

This reminds me of that movie Jumanji, when Robin Williams was trying to retrieve the game from a pelican. He couldn't get it b/c, every time he tried, the pelican snapped at him.

He kept trying to snatch it, b/c they needed the game to get out of the jungle. If they didn't finish the game, they'd be trapped with jungle creatures inside their house forever.

I don't remember how he finally retrieved the game.

That's crazy. As soon as they get something to eat they just mosey on down to the water and swim away. A seagull will sit there all day long and keep eating what you throw at them until they explode. But they're VERY fun to feed. I love daring animals. We had a seagull grab a hotdog off a grill that had been on for hours one time. Great video though.
