  • Let's see all the video on the wars they are fighting for then. We'll know the answer to this question.

  • well done

    3rd Batt. 7th Marines ChuLai,RVN 10/65-11/66

  • My Great grandpa was in WWI...then my grandma's two brothers got drafted into WWII...Then my dad went into the Army for 20yrs, ready to fight, when he came back home he was almost caught up in the Gulf War, but other forces took care, then he retired (as a ssgt). I am so proud of my dad and for my family's history. Everytime I see a Veteran I smile and shake their hand for their service. Maybe one day I'll join a force, like the Airforce. Time will tell.

  • A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a slut, no one knows she was raped at 13. People call another man fat. They don't know that he has a disease that makes him overweight. People call an old man ugly. No one knew he had a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war.People call a women bald but they don't know she has cancer Re-post this if you are against bullying and stereotyping. I bet 95% of you won't

  • Semper Fidelis to my fellow veterans and active duty armed forces . Deepest condolences to the family and friends of Corporal Mark Goyet of Sinton , Texas .We know that freedom comes at a price . His body came home today July 4th. 2011 ..

  • This video is great, My son is in the Air-force, and a lot of people in my church are in the Marines. I am very proud of them. My heart and prayers goes out to the military and their families. I have made small military message bottles, that comes with a customizable scroll so you can send that touching letter in a unique way. facebook Brenda Green

  • most men & women in the military don't like war! But they do it because they feel it's their duty to give back to the country that gave to them. That's why I served in the USAF during the Vietnam conflict. I never saw combat, I was stateside the entire time I was in. My mother doesn't even consider me a real Veteran because I wasn't in combat & served 2 1/2 yrs. I watched almost a million sq miles of airspace while I was in. I was with the 25th NORAD at McChord outside Tacoma, WA

  • vets are old people who complain and bitch about the flag and kissing gov. ass no cares about thIS crap.

  • The military is slowly killing its soldiers and civillians in the middle east with Depleted Uranium. Please research this if you are a soldier or know one!!!

  • Two Grampas who paid with their lives for defending freedom in World War I.

  • Two Grampas who paid with their lives for defending freedom in World War I.

  • What comes to mind? the GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY

  • I profoundly admire the courage of anyone that has served in combat, for the courage is great, sometimes surpassing the instinct to survive and show gallantry, and yes there is pride always, honor not so much if we are realistic, the only thing I hold against combatants is that they have truly no wisdom that is why they engage in this primitive and crude way of solving things, and fight most of the times for lies.

  • and whats with the first sentence of the vid- thinking of a us veteran how come you think of wisdom? id rather say having worst nightmares to the end of their lives

  • lol and what evidence u base this off? Why would US troops deliberately target civilians? Troops are people to they have consciences, they believe in right or wrong, they dont go over to iraq for oil or this and that, Also give a logical reason why we would target civilians, when in fact we are trying to win them over, it wouldnt make sense, do u know that alot of our own guys over in iraq have died because of the rules of engagement.

  • @cmag3123 Those civilians have to first target the troops before the troops can fire upon them. kale is being a idiot and yes the rules of engagement do change. Yet the only way that civilians die is from terrist shooting at them because they support our soldiers.

  • @Zack2504 terrorist shooting? you watched too much fox recently or something? haha and whats with this 'terrorist' word? if someone brought a huge army to your country wouldnt you defend it? because you have to know that youd be immidiately called a terrorist. so watch your language and start analysing what other say before repeating it in a truly mindless way

  • @cmag3123 you obviously want to make me talk the talk you do which sounds kinda like 'shit fuck dumbass rapeape', so im not going to continue the discussion with you unless u learn some manners which you apparently lack. one last thing- if u read what i have written- watch fallujah stuff (collateral murder from wikileaks available on youtube). peace

  • @Kalemusz if ur gonna put blame on someone do it to the leaders not the vets. If it was up to me i would turn ur whole shit face coutry into a glass bowl. All u dumb sand apes do is kill each other over their anyways over fucking religion, its kinda dumb that my people have to go over their and die for arrogant fucks like u.

  • @cmag3123 Put the blame on the leaders not on the vets, "He who kills the cow sin as much as he who holds it down!"

  • @Kalemusz and i always get on these forums and i see people saying 50,000 ppl been killed over their, 400,000, 70,000, 100,000, million.....Which one is it???? lol i would really like to know what u base ur evidence off of and do give me some biased bullshit website, its the web i could find a website that gave logical evidence that aliens kidnapped elvis

  • I feel sorry for anyone who fought, fight or will fight in war. Whether its mid east, vietnam or II WW- doesnt matter.

But the meaning of war has changed. While it was some kind of nation protection 70 years ago, now its just killing for no purpose. How can you possibly be so naive to believe that you protect your country in any way when going to the other side of the world killing innocent people just for oil? Whats up with this honor? You wanna be put into cascet because of this fucking war?

  • Where is the oil exactly?

  • hmm lemme think? iraq?

  • Why are you asking me? I thought you all ready knew that we were taking their oil.

  • ... because i did and was cynic writing a question mark on the end of the sentence..

  • @Kalemusz trust me those troops dont go over their to fight for oil u fucking prick.

  • @cmag3123 Well they don't go over there to fight for oil ONLY, actually their occupation serves a whole lot of purpouses, one of them is to poison themselves with radiation from depleted uranium used in some of their ordinance and high caliber machine guns. they all in ignorance think they serve their country but most governments in the world serve the illuminati. is all a big fucking lie!

  • @Kalemusz i hate fucking people like u, i dont think i have to explain myself ur comment is arrogant and shows ur true idiocy, do u know in the middle east they have a policy about only shoot until fired upon, so that we know that we arnt killling civies

  • @cmag3123 thank you very much for insulting me, i hope youll feel better after saying it. yes, you arent killing civis- well thats interesting! have you seen massacre of civilians in fallujah? and how great fun did us boys have while shooting people? come on! or better- tell me what the hell did you go there for? why are you so interested in middle east?

  • @Kalemusz The soldiers do not and will not fire on civilians unless they fire on them. Get it right, watch the news, pay attention in the newspaper to what all is going on.

  • @Zack2504 Hahahhaaaaa I can't believe u said watch the news! that says a whole lot about how intelligent u are. LOL and LOL some more.

  • i go out of my way to say thx to a vetren or currently serving soldier, airmen, sailor or marine.

    semper fi,

us naval sea cadet and future marine

  • The US veterans of the IIWW have been betrayed!

    russia-vs-usa . ucoz . com

  • omg this nationalistic dribble is makin me,,, blaaaaaaagggghhhhh

  • "Welcome Home" kraftiekreations.

From a Vietnam Vet also, 66/68. Took 38 years for me to get a welcome home.

  • All MILITARY does is fight for Politicians Special Interests.

USA has no business in the MID EAST. LET israel fight their own war, WASTING American Lives for them ???

Where is the recognition of our BOYS from WW2? All we hear about is HOLOCAUST. NOTHING for or about any or all of the USA VETS whom gave their lives for them fucks. And you feel HONORED to die for a lost cause.

LOOK at the FED. RESERVE, who do you think owns the FED RES ? GUESS? While they fuck YOU and USA.

    Haliburton ? Bush?

  • THank you to all Vets, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • I am a Vietnam combat vet, and it took 34 years for the first person outside my family to shake my hand for my service and say "Welcome Home, and ...thank you." Attitudes change over time. Thank you for this tribute to all our military and all veterans who are doing or who have done - their part for freedom everywhere! Great job!

  • Nice job, from a Proud Veteran

  • *GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

  • mastior: The only thing your posts prove is that some people people don the uniform who have little business doing so. They, all too many of our "public servants", are there for all the wrong reasons.

Benedict Arnold was one such example.

And while it is certainly true that our military has been misused in some situations, it does not detract from their individual valor.

I'd rather have a Vet as President, than a foreigner like Obama.

  • Awesome ! God Bless All US Military Forces !

  • We will never forget their service.

  • In some countries the comments you are making would be jailed, tortured and if you're lucky killed as an enemy of the state. Since you hate America so much give them a call maybe they have a room in one of their state run apartment buildings with a job in Sibera. As for your posts you are either young or a college student who can't form your own opinion and just spouts your liberial profs. hate America montra. You enjoy holiday weekend, I WILL HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE AND ARE SERVING!!!!!!

  • Thank you to all of our U.S. Veteran & Military heroes. I'd like to also take a moment to honor and remember the many brave men and women who have given their lives to protect and serve our nation. Thank you.

  • Damn, look at all the haters. This video wasn't made to debate anything happening over in Iraq or Afghanistan it was to honor those who have done a great job by serving and protecting the United States. It's cute of y' all to talk shit on the US military behind a keyboard...I DARE you to say these things to someone who was in the military TO THEIR FACE..but you wouldn't because you're cowards...Those of you not in the US have fun using computers & other US Created things. THANK YOU VETERANS

  • Right on Bro.

  • Comment removed

  • As an ex-Marine Vietnam Veteran, I take exception to your ignorant comments. When you take the oath to serve and protect, you do so without hesitation and we will go anywhere in the world our Commander-in Chief sends us. If everyone had your mental state, we would all be talking German, remember WWII. Oh and by the way Viet is spelled wrong, stay in school and work on that, k?

  • Dumb ass how can you be an EX VET?

The only thing that comes to mind to be an x VET would be a traitor an awol or dishonorable discharge screw up

  • Those who have served undestand the sacrifice nesseccary. I feel sorry for the ones that have not served for the will never know the bound of brotherhood that only warriors have.

  • Fuck you coward bastard

  • In reponse to your comment If it wasn't for our military which I'm proud to have proudly served with(USMC 78-84) you would not have the right of freedom of speech among other rights you should be thankful to our military for we gave you those rights.

  • Just thank a veteran you're not speaking Japaneese or German or Russian you coward bastard it's fuckheads like you that should be disembowled and burned at the stake I know a million plus vets that would be happy to fire up their old Zippos!!!

  • typical aggressive American, always wanting to kill someone been like this ever since wounded knee

  • whether I killed 1 or one hundred doesn't matter I served my country proudly and would do it all over again. By the way how old are you(if you aren't afraid to answer)By the way I served as a police officer does that also make me a murder? No it does not I TOOK THE OATH TO PROTECT AND SERVE.. I'm 50 years old and would gladly reup in the military if they would let me just so I could protect your rights and everbody elses. so that everybody has the rights they are used to including you.

  • I don't know why but I feel sorry for you. What will you do when the next war that AMERICA is in just may be on our own land? Would you run away and hide or join the opposing force against us.

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Hey moron, 9/11 was imposed by President Halliburton the famous saying is if a country needs money go to war. Yaaa

Politicians or Industrialists DO NOT give a dam about lives.

The more lives wasted the more money Cheney/Bush received. Imagine how much Cheney/Bush would of recieved if they sacrificed 15,000 more US Troops.

I certainly don't want to be a HERO for a fucking Politician let alone for a Government. Just a number that's ALL.

9/11 was all a fake. IRAQ is all fake, where's BIN LADIN?

  • Fuck you!! You coward just be thankful to all of us vets you're not speaking german or japanese or or some other shit. A proud Vietnam Army Veteran 67 68 Cu Chi

Thank You for my freedom and everything else you have done.

    Navy Vets Wife

    USS Davis, DD 937

  • God bless our veterans and their families. Pray for Peace. Grandpa Clarence Jones

  • I am a vet who fought in Vietnam for a year. I don't know how I would react with Obama as my comander-in-chief However, I do apreciate this post. I kinda makes me greatful that an organization recognizes what al vets went through.

  • although i am not an active duty solider,i still think of myself as the Army Ranger and will continue to do so as long as i live ! I salute those men and womrn who serve our loved country, and may God Bless them and keep them safe! Old soliders never die, they just fade away!

  • Both my wife and I are veterans; she served 13 years active USAF, I had 4 years Army Guard & 9 yrs USAF Res.

Thank you for this; we loved and love our comrades.

Here's a bit of an ongoing poem of mine:

I am at heart a soldier still

I hear the Call across the years

It stirs my soul and thoughts well up

Of duty done and comrades made

    Semper Officiosus - Steven

  • Remember those who risk their lives for us forever.

Thank you for all that you sacrifice for our country.

Support our troops, young and old and remember their families too.

    Thank you,

God Bless you and your families.

  • I recall being a kid and my dad took me over an old man's house. That old guy told me about World War I. He didn't say a lot, but it was enough. A few years later I met a Vet of Korea. He showed me the scar on his arm from a bullet. That was enough for a kid to never forget. Since, I've met many other Vets of WW2, Vietnam and the war of today. All I can do is try to make this country better and worth coming home to. It's the only thanks, I have, even more so for the guys who never returned.

  • Thank you VetFriends for posting this wonderful tribute video honoring our U.S. Veteran & Military heroes.

  • I also dont like the fact that our troops are being treated like lab rats with our governments manditory vaccines..Many troops are dying or deathly sick from the vaccines they took..I know alot of people dont believe me but the proof is all over the net all you have to do is look it up...I stand for our troops i stand for freedom i stand for veterans of any kind..but i also stand for the constitution and the liberty and healthcare and the economy we should have.

  • I respect all veterans bottom line...I have trouble with accepting how our veterans get treated these days..This world isnt the same as anyone can tell..It makes me sick to see our military fighting for oil...John mccain admits it i can send u the video. I really dont think we are fighting for freedom anymore in iraq..We have been losing our freedoms quickly here at home since the first day we went to war...If our boys are fighting for freedom then where is the freedom???

  • How can you talk out of both sides of your mouth at the same time. W hat are you a liberal far left lying politican?

  • I come from a long line vets, father career Air Force, brother career Air Force, uncle Career Navy, and a brother who was a Marine in Viet Nam. God bless our heros - the fighting men and women of the United States military! We owe them our lives and our freedom... most of ALL our respect and honor. Every time I see a soldier I am overwhelmed by the fact that he/she put their life on the line for me - 'no greater love than this!' Thank you to our American heroes! God bless and keep you all!

  • God Bless Our Troops! God Bless Our Vet's!!

  • I know of many young men and women who served in Nam...and many never returned, Now other young ones are not returning from Iraq. I hate war but support our troops 100%!!! CarolHawks

  • Thank your for your service and God bless you.

  • I have Naval buds and online Marine and Navy buds...a Nephew of mine is Sniperman in the Marines. My Dad was in WW ll and 2 of my Uncles. I have a Nam vet friend too.

WE ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!

Oorah! Hoorah! Go Navy!! Go Marines!!

    I support our Troops!

  • My uncle is a nam vet. So I have a lot of respect for veterans but there are always a few that would ruin it for the rest.

  • 5/5

    God Bless these Guys/Gals!

  • Great tribute to our warriors. Thank you all!! We are endebted deeply.

    Rebecca~

  • I never supported the Iraq war. I still believe that going there was wrong and that we should have stayed focused on Bin Laden but, no matter what I think about it, I will always support our troops. They don't have the option of choosing where they're sent or which war they'll fight. I'm greatful that we have these wonderful people who are willing to risk their lives to defend and protect us. I thank each and every one of them.

  • What a foolish statement perkoff, over 4000 soldiers didnt die for nothing, we killed a dictator and freed a country.

  • Simply and correctly put EF5Chaser!

  • The many brave men and women who have proudly worn and currently wear the uniforms of the U.S. Armed Forces, are indeed Heroes of our great nation. Both past and present - U.S. Veterans, active & reserve Military - I thank you for your bravery, courage & honor in protecting America. My Grandfather is a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War and he is a Hero, along with my other Grandpa who passed away many years ago, who was a medic in WWII. Thank you U.S. Veterans & Military!

  • Our Veterans deserve the best care in the world because if anyone has earned it, its THEM! Both of my grandfathers fought for the Army (WWII and Korea and they are my heroes) and they can tell you the gruesome toll of war but we should know by now our freedom is not free and it will continue to be attacked for years to come.

  • Is your dad pissed off that the government lied about the Gulf Of Tonkin incident to get us into that war? Over 50,000 Americans died in that pointless war, your dad is lucky to be alive.

  • May god bless all these kids who died for a lie and may satan kick the ass of those that lied to further their political polices at the expense of over 4,000 American lives.

  • I feel sorry that 4,000 of them had to die for no reason at all.

  • A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' USAF Viet-nam vet

  • Being a combat veteran and a life member of the VFW, I hold veterans to a higher standard of morals than I would expect the average person to comprehend. I love my country more than the average person I meet on the street ( but I live in La California ) so that should be expected. I also believe that anyone who holds office that could send us into battle should have been in battle them selves. Semper Fi

  • Thanks for those words. I couldn't have said it better. I get frustrated because there are no words to thank these wonderful, courageous, selfless, loving people for all they do, all they sacrifice, all they suffer each and every for us. I hope they know I don't take that for granted. All I can say is thank you, but I hope they know it's so much more than I can express to them. God bless. Great video.

  • Vetrans have given their life for us.God said there is no greater love!

  • Semper Fi to all my Marine Brothers and all who serve or have served. Honor...Loyalty...Discipline!!!

  • I'll vote for Obama so these young men don't have to die for no cause.

    SEMPER FI!

  • God bless America's veterans!

  • Awsome video and so true!

  • Hoorah,God bless the red white and blue.My sincere gratitude goes out to every American veteran. They helped make this nation the greatest country in the world.Let's keep it that way.

  • I AGREE

  • The Greatest Generation, my grand parents, are my heroes, my mentors and the example I try to follow each and every day. They were born in total misery after the Great Depression, then after the world had given them no mercy... they saved civilization itself, democracy and while protecting the free world from Communism and eventually defeating it, they built the most incredible wealth and technology expansion in the history of the world! God bless you!

The baby boomers are spoiled rotten brats!

  • Serving my country in the uniform was the greatest honor of my life. I feel indebted and thankful for the opportunity.

    Mission first.

    People always.

    America forever.

    Semper fi.

  • BUSH is selling USA OUT with the possibly of Marshal Law.USA was the greatest Country How can a candidate spend 100 million a month earning only $200,000.00 a year? McCain is KEATING5,SYNINGTON4, AirBus sell out. HEAD of the MORT.IND,ENRON. Ladies in thier 70s are

finacially upside down McCain Took thier Pension FUND.Non Military Presidents were non War Presidents Account of BUSH Euro's may soon be USA Currency, he signed the OPEN Border Treaty years ago. Interstate 35 MEXICO/

    CANADA

  • First of all, I think that this kind of comment is out of place in a video giving respect to the best of us. Second, what ARE you talking about? Is this a paste of some article or a condensated dose of pro-Obama, anti-Bush rhetoric propaganda so loved by these "free thinkers" called liberals, these anti-conformists that all look, act, shop and argue the same. Yeah "hippies" wear a uniform just as much as these boys up in the video, it's just that the soldiers are actually worthy of respect.

  • My point well made, OUR VETERANS deserve much more than the Administration is rewarding them What I said about McCain is TRUE.Imagine

that could be your mother or grandmother he

    STOLE FROM.

  • The people on those planes where all from Saudi Arabia, we are owned by them so of course we wouldn't invade them. Afghanistan is where Bin Laden is but screw that place, we'll send like 100 troops there and 100,000 to Iraq, cause it's more important to be in a pointless war accomplishing nothing in Iraq than it is to get Bin Laden. We caught Saddamn like 5 years ago and we're still wasting our time getting out.

  • Fighting a war with a country who is only fighting us because we invaded there country is not supporting the troops. If you support the troops you'd want them to live rather than die for a lie.

  • YOU ARE A TOTAL IDIOT! This is about supporting the Veterans of all wars good or bad.

  • As a veteran wife I appreciate everything our men and women in the military has and is doing for us. They need all the respect we can muster. Thank you all.

  • I was in the military, all you are to the Armed Forces is a Number. As a Civilian it's the Government and Feds, who also give a DAM

about The TAXPAYORS. All they want to do is screw you. My Family served in the Wars, My uncle was split in 1/2. They tried to SCREW him out of Compensation. GOD BLESS our Soldier and Veterans we certianly can't count on the Government we Dedicated our Lives For.

Seems most of America's Presidents were Military Look what they have done to our Country VS none VETS.

  • Reagan, Clinton were benficial 2 America Bush concern is OIL not USA. The Very reason he Shunned Venezuela contrasts his investments

OFFERING USA GAS for .50 a gallon Calling Chavez a Commi, Chavez then went to RUSSIA.

  • A veterans service is taken to lightly in this country, by those that choose not to serve.

No CIVILIAN service, political, EMS or Law Enforcement should try to equate their service as equal.

America should pay for a $1,000,000 life insurance policy on every serviceman.

  • My father {who is now 82 yrs young} is a WWII Army Vet. He was in France and Germany. They were called the Greatest Generation! God Bless All Veterans of the Armed Service! Amen....

  • Right on Brothers, I will stand to defend those who stepped up to the plate defending US and Our Children, All the way everyday ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • As the daughter/sister/niece/cousin of Veterans, and a USAF Veteran, myself, I'll tell you what they mean to me: EVERYTHING!! They are the reason we are free. Their sacrifice paid for our Nation, our Flag, our people. Thank you for your service! *Salute* Five stars!!

Great video, Great tribute.. Very nicely done.

    THANK YOU!!

  • Thanks so much for your support and kind words. Thank you for also sharing this powerful photo with us, we really appreciate it. Have a wonderful day!

  • This video tribute is great. I have posted it on my Myspace and Facebook page. Great job VetFriends. When I think of a US Veteran I think of bravery and dedication. Our active military and veterans are the best.

  • This video is nice video tribute. Our Veterans deserve the best care and honor because they have EARNED it. Nice job vetfriends, there were some nice images in the video. When I think of a US Veteran I think "Responsible, dedicated, courageous-Simply A real life hero"

  • This was a nice tribute, but as I am a female veteran, it would have been nice to have shared some pictures of fellow female soldiers, airmen, seamen and veterans, not just mention 2 times as "sisters" in the video. There were only males in your video- S. J. Clark, Veteran, USAF

  • Thank you for this video! I'm posting it on my Myspace page!!

  • GREAT VIDEO!!! I spent 7 years as a US Army Medic so this Video especially hits home for me....Doc Killian
