You say it has a lot of features, than go on to name all the physical aspects but nothing about the software and functionality specs of the cam, and go completely on to reviewing/comparing an entirely different product. I owned a Flip MinoHD 2nd generation and loved it, but I realized that with the price, you can buy much better pocket camcorders for much cheaper. I bought a Samsung HMX-E10...a camera that is very under the radar, but it is much better than the Flip cams...that is just my opinion, but I understand why people like the Flip cams.

@sirMS3 Makes sense but if your looking to buy a camcorder you might want to invest some money in to it, brands like Hitachi and Sony do a great range of 1080P 60FPS Camcorders with audio in at around 180 pounds and its well worth it, camcorders like the Flip and Zi8 suffer from low light and rolling shutter making their video's, lets face it, crap.

I got the Kodak Zi6 last year because it seemed like the same thing but cheaper with expandable memory etc. But I freezes up every time I use it. I sent it in to be repaired because all Kodak stuff has a 1 year warranty. I had to pay $15 dollars to ship. They had it for 3 WEEKS, and when I got it, it was STILL broken. I talked to some lady who couldn't speak English on the phone for 45 minutes until she finally told me to send it in for repairs again. So, I bought the flip, and it's amazing.

The Flipshare software freezes up, and I cant make a movie!

Flip support ignored me, after more emails they lied to me about a "patch" upgrade, and now they are totally ignoring me again

@MrBillTroop73 try Sony Vegas software. It rocks. I have a Kodak Play Sport. Software with it sucks too. Got to shell out 60 to 100 bucks if you want nice software. None of the software with pocket cams is good for fun custom videos.

@MrBillTroop73 you still have what is consider by most the best pocket cam. Flip's are sweet. You'll have allot more with sony vegas, power director, corel video editing software that any free sogtware. Just watch the youtube videos on these editing softwares to see what all you can do. Many of the special effects you will learn in the first day of using the software. WELL worth the 80 or 100 bucks for the software.

Dude dont listen to this fag. This a great camera. The picture is really clean compared to the kodak Zi8. The mircophone this guy is talking about is the stupidest shit ever. who is going to carry around a mic for a portable camera. Take my advice and stick with the flip. Much easier to use.

I got a Flip Ultra instead since it was only $160. The only downside I have with these cameras is that the wide angle is pretty small and I think my battery might be defective.

I charged it fully yesterday and didn't touch it until today but noticed when I plugged it in to me computer that the battery was at red.

Recently I got a Mino HD 120 , and returned it after I heard about Kodak Zi8. I got Zi8, tried it to a day. Picture was not good at all, specially indoor picture in medium to lower light, Zi8 was very bad. What happened, I sold Zi8 and ordered another Mino HD120 on Ebay. Brand new for $186 shipped. I think that is a good price.
