hi finaly cut king, i'm new at final cut pro 7 and was wondering when editing and moving a clip from the viewer to the canvas i don't hear any audio whne i play the clip in the timeline? i mean when i play it in the viewer the audio of me and my buddies can be heard but when i move it to the canvas it's mute in the timeline? pls help

Although I only use iMovie very interesting to see how you create these effects. And indeed, the footage of Top Gear on the BBC is one of the best looking programs on TV right now. Wonder if I can create the similar effect in iMovie??

Is There Anyway To Right Click Like This In "Final Cut Express"??

zach i have a question about final cut express : when i insert a clip-movie in my project and then in viewer the subtitles don't show up but when i put a clip of it in the timeline then ithe subs magically appear ... they did not come with the movie, i found those subs in the web i have them in another folder and when i'm using eg realplayer they show up when i choose them .... but in final cut whatever i do ( i deleted even the .srt file with the subs but in the timeline are still there.

When I add the hardlight to my footage, it make it render? Why dont you have to render it? I import it in 422ProRes.

I put the gradient on the top layer and selected composite mode "multiply". I don't think there is any technical difference(I could very well be wrong). This technique looks very professional and is incredibly useful when editing footage shot very wide with a smaller point of interest you'd like to draw attention to, by moving the center of the gradient around in the frame. Thanks for the tutorials Zach!
