  • I liked this kawwali forty years back and still feel rejuvenated by this kalam. It brings tears in my eyes. I think this is perhaps the best sufi music I have ever heard.

  • This song still stirs me everytime I listen to it !

  • Gita Siddharth! And did not she look pretty!

  • A really beautiful qawwali. Love it.

  • One of the most outstanding rendition of sufi kalam. The lyrics and the emotion underlying is simply pure..

  • IT THE CONFUSION CAUSED BY MANY WHO DONOT UNDERSTAND THE FACTS. ANY PERSON ASKING HELP FROM ANY OTHER PERSON, DOESNOT MAKE THE SECOND PERSON GOD!! PERSON WHO IS HELPING OTHER PERSON SEEKING HELP, IS BY ALMIGHTY ALLAH'S GRACE ONLY. LIKEWISE, IF THE PERSON SEEKING HELP THINKS THAT OTHER PERSON AS GOD THEN THAT IS SHIRK!!! I HOPE THAT EXPLAINS

  • @URRing How can you ask for help when NO ONE can hear you except Allah (SWT).

These holy saints are equally accountable on the day of Hashr.

    Rest - Allah knows better!

  • Yes, it is true that no one can hear you what you seek in your hearts accept ALLAH (SWT). It is ALLAH (SWT) who grants that wish through indirect means............... that is the hands which you see are not of ALLAH (SWT).

As Far as accountability is concerns everyone living being is accountable not only the Saints but also the Prophets as well.

ALLAH is all Knowing and all Wise

  • Last heard this wonderful song/qawali (and saw the movie) before leaving India 30 years back. Even now after all these years, feel the same awesome, soul-touching emotions. It's sheer magic. BTW, is the actress called Geeta? Thanx a million. God bless u all.

  • @gchugani yes the actress is Gita Kak....

  • Dear Sir, Its a really great upload..many many thanks for sharing. I also fully agree with the comments at the last that its only the almighty who can fullfil our wishes not the saints. but to my understanding, when the people come to saints, its not that they consoider them in the place of GOD, but more close to GOD....wallahu alam

  • ignore the ignorant.... these ppl donot understand god or his religion .... its there ego talking... islam is abt love and connection to god directly..... and how ever u want to connect is ur wish... these ppl just want to boast ..... ! God is the only 1 who can judge us... not these ppl ! he knows best!

  • ignore the ignorant please... these people donot understand god or his religion! its abt the heart n love and connection to god dat matters.... who are these ppl to judge us? no1... at the end god knows best ! :)

  • I was deeply offended by the comments at the end of this video. I am a Hindu, but when my only son died, the only solace I found was on Salim Chistis tomb. It somehow healed me. Who are these guys who define what God is. What do these savages know who go about blasting the Buddhas of Bamyan about the concept of God? Hum hian tow khuda bhi hai.. it is all in your limbic cortex.

  • @118hamiltonst my brother....please dont get offended by ignorant ppl... wat u know abt god cant be explained in words.... aapne dilse ibadat ki... isiliye... aapko khuda ki rehmat ata hui... no1 can judge my friend... may the supreme power bless u ! :)

  • Mr. Khan, if that is what you believe, I wonder why you have posted a song which goes against your beliefs.Anyway, qawwali is a great art form , even if you disagree with the devotional aspects.

  • The comments about not praying to saints at the end ruins the soothing effect of the qawwali. It is annoying that people cannot appreciate a great piece of music ,devotional or otherwise, without preaching. In this case, the comments are like a disclaimer on the sentiment of the song. Mr. Khan, are you concerned about misleading believers or did you do so to avoid the ire of fanatics? I have recently found some Muslims reject all forms of music as haram.Spare us such a joyless world!

    Thanks !

  • @HH576 The comments are precisely what I believe and to prove it, I had quoted from Quran.

  • @HH576 you expressed my sentiment exactly. I always get emotional when I hear this qawwali but.... people DO NOT understand. Where does qyran or religion comes in this

  • @BALLYRM : Thanks for your post. This song is meaningful to anyone who has felt sorrow, experienced parting and heartbreak, and felt the need to find comfort - in other word, most normal people. Why would anyone want to spoil this?

  • wonderful.

  • this is awsome ...plz i wanna dl it bcz in this video my forefathers area was picturized plz how can i dl it ....

  • Superb Qawwali - what a sublime poetry and brilliant rendation by Ustad Ahmed khan warsi

  • Yeh Sang-e-dar tumhara : todengey apne sar sey

Ghoonghat ke laaz rakhna; iss sir par taaz rakhna..

Each line is sublime....Thank you Azgar for posting this best of India.
