@rzagza11 I totally agree with your assessment. I didn't see the other loss, but this is definitely a cheessy performance by him. Maybe he felt mentally overwhelmed or something. Even his punches didn't have power or intent in them. He swung like he wanted to catch African Butterflies. I would not pay to watch him. Not sure I would even watch him for free. Jorge Arce is very beatable. But Nongqayi shouldn't leave any African shores for prize-fighting overseas anymore. He's such a bore!

i think the ref should give a standing 8 count first before stopping the fight. that is too early to stop the fight...

standing 8 counts are more often applied in the amateur system. professional referees rarely give them because it stops the action in the fight. that was an appropriate stoppage, the african slumped over and went limp as he was being overwhelmed by a barrage of punches.

The dude's head was the bigger threat to Arce than his fists. Very good win for Travieso over an awkward, difficult opponent.
