I've often held that video games can be a form of art.

Games like Portal, Shadow of the Colossus and Silent Hill 2, are ones I've often used to show why I think that.

But this game here also has a very artistic feel to it. It may not be revolutionary in terms of story or gameplay or graphics. But the symbolism scattered throughout and the simple situation of a child in a dangerous world, coupled with the intriguing black and white environment all give an otherworldly feel.

This game is art.

This game is one of the finest examples of videogame art I've ever played. The sounds and sparse music set the mood perfectly. I'm hungry for more games like this.

The symbolism and environments are the most gripping parts of the game; drenched with mystery, filled with symbolism, and in the end, fucking horrifying. My favorite part was the opening and the Spider, along with the clocktower. Those are some of the best horror and puzzle sequences I've ever seen.

My only complaint is that the puzzles in the middle lose some of their horror and become less gripping. But that's about it.

A pretty perfect game in my opinion.
