I am confused with all the arguments. Both these brothers are fantastic and truly excellent classical singers. Comparisons to pop singers or anyone else is unwarranted and unfair. I agree with the comment that having half naked women running around with this quality and type of music just does not make any sense. Enjoy the music, it is good for the soul

If you can achieve 1% of either of them, you would be considered successful. i dont think either of them should be compared or belittled. and this whole indo-pak debate is overdone, why does it matter if the singer is pak or indian ?

Mekaal Hasan band has many excellent songs all rendered by incomparable vocalist Javed Bashir who is equal to Shafqat, the only other vocalist of his caliber anywhere in India and Pakistan. Quality of this music is so so but his vocals were MHB are incomparable.

Uh-huh you´re partly right. Definitely right about his greatness, Javed bhai ka koi muqaabla nahin hai, I´ve got a crush on him lol! No but seriously, he´s amazing mashallah. He´s fortunately not going to waste though, alhamdulillah. First of all he´s doing a great job with Meekal Hassan Band (I hope he doesn´t leave them when his demand risens) and secondly, he´s going abroad all the time to perform. Question is, when is he coming to my corner of the world.......I´m waiting!
