  • This is the best because I don't have tls so this is wayy easier

  • i never would know that you can use water and clay to make liquid clay..... smart!

  • does sculpey original work? how do u make it translucent?

  • I was wondering if this can work with cold porcelain? thanksx

  • would you be able to make lots and store it in a container, or will it dry up?

  • @clubpenguin1212100 I would def NOT recommend it, it dries pretty fast...

  • @Madizzo

    ok, thanks!

  • so cool! (that song makes me very happy!)

  • I heard that song in Universal the other day!

  • @CraftyCasssie I have never tried sculpey, but I have heard people try sculpey and water and It's not working :/ sorry :/

  • Hmm... how would you change the color of it...?

I see that you used orange clay, but... do you put your fake liquid clay in a bowl an just mix it with a different color?

  • @YiaNyan9 : try mixing in some chalk from a pastel pencil in the white liquid clay. I actually don't like the way colored clay gets with this method... I think cloring white clay wouldwork much better, I haven't tried this myself though so you have to experiment a little and see how it turns out :)

  • @Madizzo

actually, i made this using kind of toffee coloured clay and it came out perfectly...

but with brown clay, you can still see some of the white liquid in it no matter how much you mix it. i find it kinda weird.

  • @clubpenguin1212100 Ok, that's good to know! I guess toffee is still light enough to hide that white-ish stuff...

  • @YiaNyan9 I Tried this and i put in a little bit of paint (: Try a tiny bit of paint in :D

  • wait what if it keeps its solid form. i've been trying this for about 2 hours now and its still solid :(

  • oh my gosh thanks!

  • THANK you! That was fantastic! I have a mortar and pestle, I'm thinking they would work well for slightly larger amounts (it isn't a *huge* mortar and pestle set, but it is very smooth porcelain, not wood). I like money saving ideas!!! Of course, so doesn't my fiance... lol

  • I didn't know that i can actually make liquid clay... Thank you!!

  • thank you, so helpfull, because in my country they don't sell TLS, and i don't buy from america. :P (i live in the netherlands) my country sells only deco gel... ^-^

  • 0:21 it is water?

  • you should use TLS, translucent liquid sculpey, it works much better :3

  • @heshilikescandy : I do, but this tutorial is for when you're feeling a bit poor and don't have the money for TLS or don't have any stores in your country (My country :C) that sell TLS.

  • @heshilikescandy ya but you have to pay 4 bucks for something that you could make

  • thank youuu this was so helpful and your cakes are really beautifull too ! :D

  • Haha, this was awesome Maddie! I love those cakes, I can see them on a pretty charm bracelet already. :)
