I was curious -- how do they disperse the food produced? You mentioned this garden was meant to encourage the people living in the nearby projects to participate in growing some of their food, but you didn't see them taking advantage of this opportunity, and instead, outside volunteers were doing the work. So . . , when things are harvested, who gets produce?
check their web site for the specifics on how they operate. My view was from the growing view, and not nececessarily the distribution aspects. their site is alemanyfarm. o r g
I had a speech therapist in elementary school. Evidently, it didnt help. I constantly strive to improve all aspects of my life, thanks for the comments.
Great video John! The straw mulch for the strawberries would prevent the soil from splashing on the berries causing bad spots. I have noticed a lot of professional strawberry growers use black plastic for that reason.
Its never good to talk with your hands around bee hives. Great Video, could not image the people who live in public housing in Louisiana doing anything like that.

It would be awesome if they produced a vidoe or instructions on how to make that compost tumbler. Looks cost effective and a great DIY.
