Cape town is very beautiful, but it has many rivals when it comes to nice places. It reminds me a lot of Sydney and parts of California. I live in California and I think it's pretty nice here as well and I consider myself lucky. Although Cape Town is attractive, I see no reason to leave California to see it. If I were to it would only be to experience the different culture, plant and animal life, but everything else is pretty much the same.
