Id agree with almost everything except for the part where you said "if youre a leader of a team, if you lose a game, its your fault. If you win a game, its because of you" I agree with the first part, but not the second. If you win, its because of your team, and how they worked together. Sure, leadership might have something to do with it, but encouraging the team to work together and giving them the credit for the win not only makes you look better but it also makes them feel good about you.

As a captain of my team is there a way I can try to express this to my teammates? I know exactly what you mean and I actually got goosebumps when you said how you have to be sure your gonna catch it. It shouldn't matter whose up against you unless their 6 inches taller. if you can read the disc you can catch it always.

I totally agree with the encouraging teammates saying my bad it was a bad pass or bad catch i'll do better next time. But, I do not think the mentality of a captain saying its my fault we lost or won is very great, maybe for a Coach to say that is appropriate. After seeing great teams at different levels play, (also basing this sport to others I have played/been a fan of) I really think that ultimate right now is the 'ultimate' team sport. Win as a team lose as a team, mentality. Thoughts?

yea man i totally agree with this mentality. you're not only competing against somebody else or another team, but you're always competing against yourself. its much easier to accept a loss if you know you played as well as you could have, but if you know you played poorly its impossible to not take it personally. This isnt only a mentality for ultimate...it's a mentality for life.
