The easter bunny is based on Eostre, a pagan shape-changing goddess, which represents rebirth in the cycle of seasons. You should know by now that Christianity hijacked pagan motifs and built up a singular faith-based system in order to control society (beginning with Emperor Constantine). Do research and you will realise this whole "jesus christ" (title meaning "spiritual teacher") resurrection story is symbolic of natural rebirth, not literal truth. It is an emotional fad and a fraud - enjoy!

Ummm, not so sure about that kanthPL. Remember that Jesus Christ isn't actually a name, it's a title, just like 'Lord' or 'Mr.' - it means 'spiritual teacher'. But there has been many spiritual teachers throughout history - the problem is digging through enough history that you understand the origins, while also being skeptical about everything because you should never forget that history is also made up of ideological interpretations (usually by the powerful and wealthy).

I don't think you're getting the point. Why are you taking a mythological story (i.e. the Jesus crucifixion/resurrection) and insisting it is literal truth. Why is that any more "true" than Harry Potter or Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind. These stories are not much more than allegories about the human condition. They've just been used as flags of identity (e.g. Christian, hindu, muslim) to control masses in favour of redemption, faith, promised lands, etc.

What's "mythical" about crucification? It was a common practice back then. I don't really understand why for example u believe that Aristoteles lived and taught in Ancient Greece and not that the crucification of Jesus Christ occured. You have not seen proof supporting any of the cases, yet you still insist that crucification is a myth.

It's a matter of different forms of research and finding reliable sources. But not once have I said that either Jesus or crucifixion itself is a myth. My point was that the story of Jesus Christ in those parables which were compiled into the Bible we have today are misinterpreted as history. I'm not against it, but I don't seek the blindness of "faith" - it is an interesting story, that is all. Anyway, when did i mention Aristotle?

Aristotle was just an example because it's a common knowledge. The bottom line is, you admit that Jesus was crucified ,but you believe that most important aspects of that story are probably mythical/false. Is that correct?

It is not about what I believe. I have read a lot of scholarly material, which include Gnosticism and The Dead Sea Scrolls, and other books on archaeological evidence for history and anthropology and there was at one time heaps of different Christian stories with different adepts, denominations, belief structures, etc. You can look up the information yourself. So far, I have not found any evidence for the existence of a Jesus Christ man, god, prophet or whatever.
