You are right; the sound was very bad but her playing was very good. I play this piece many years ago and she did do a good job. I can tell her violin is really not the best even my violin sounds better than that one.

The sound is poor, of course, and that is a bit hard to ignore for music. But it has the feeling and mood that this piece calls for.

Those who can only enjoy it when it sounds like Hahn in a 2 m$ studio will of couse go wrong here.
