  • Now on GOG.COM DRM Free :)

  • Man, the unreal engine support for audio DID suck, it's amazing how the composer made a nice soundtrack.

  • I had a few problems with DXHR compared to the original, but overall it was still a good game. It just wasn't good compared to the original, but that's setting the bar VERY high.

  • damn remixes, where is the original?

  • my ears are augmented

  • "put on a trenchcoat and fight some conspiracies"

  • I want Deus Ex 4!

  • @UnitedEuropa

can't agree more. The DE HR did good but still it didn't reach the full potential of first Deus Ex. I want more

  • TIME TO PLAY SOME DEUS EX!

  • deus ex invisible war< deus ex hr< deus ex 1

  • that awesome moment when you start deus ex and listen to the complete main theme before starting a game, because its pure epicness

  • my replay button seems to be augmented

  • Put on a trenchcoat

  • @RohandyH And fight some conspiracies!

  • @Vakarian1991 Gain experience

  • @havoc17PL And level up abilities!

  • Any way you can re-upload the file? The link in the description is dead.

  • JC Denton has just taken out 10 terrorists who didn't like this without them realizing it. If you know whats good for you, you wont dislike this.

  • Oh my god JC, this music. It's the BOMB

    --A BOMB

  • In 'Ton hotel and kicking ass!!

  • I've replayed this so many times that when i had the snowing add-on turned on, the screen was white when i finished.

  • if you want to hear the actual in game music with a player google: mod plug player. then download and install, open the player then open one of the files in the deus ex music folder an play any song it's pretty cool! also if you are musically inclined you can use mod plug tracker and EDIT the music for the game to your liking. as long as you keep the original file name. just something to share with y'all.

  • Mr. JC Denton, in the fresh! :3

  • @AlphaProtocolPivot In the flesh Not fresh

  • @delta2ish Yes, that's the original script, but because of the genius Chinese voice-acting, it sounds like she says ''Mr. JC Denton, in the fresh'' It's used as a joke. :3

  • @AlphaProtocolPivot Wait what game were you refering too? I thought you were refering to half life when he said Dr. Freemen in the flesh.

  • @delta2ish Deus Ex, it's the Hong Kong level, where you have to bring peace to the triads, when you go to Maggie Chow's house in the residential district. Maggie Chow is the girl that had the most awkward voice actress ever. :D

  • BRB reinstalling Deus Ex

  • @lazydetailists right back at you bro

  • @lazydetailists Me too

  • This kinda sounds like the X-Men cartoon theme......

  • @daikana1 I thought that the first time i heard it :)

  • Just reinstalled Deus EX!

  • I downloaded this song cause I love

and just in case we're police

  • That's the live orchestral version from the PS2 edition. Please correct this.

  • This is actually the last one. HR is before this, and Invis.War can't be called a DX.

  • @HAXIGE

Invisible War was a good game. But the story wasn't nearly as good and I didn't play much because it was so horribly optimized my PC that manages to run Max Payne 2 and other such games perfectly lagged whenever I clicked my mouse.

  • @Jinjonator1 oh alright. it never looked or felt like how i knew deus ex to be though, personally i guess.

  • @HAXIGE

Oh, wait, yeah. As a Deus Ex game it's a piece of shit.

  • The best Deus Ex was teh first.

  • It's not main title from Deus Ex of 2000-th for PC , it's version from ugly Invisible War .

    >_<

  • @iEugene1994 It's also in the PS2 version.

  • @R3troguy PS2 version sucks too .

  • @iEugene1994 I only played the first game on the PC, so i dunno.

  • @R3troguy You can read about PS2 version on Wikipedia , they are turnet #1 game in my "Top 30 games of all times" into trash . Also Infisible war and Human revolution can't even stand next to the first part of Deus Ex for PC .

  • @iEugene1994 do i look like i give a shit

  • commence the headbobbing

  • "This video is not available in your country."

    What a shame.

  • @VGGeek HAHA

  • Your gonna burn alright.

  • Great music.

But I never asked for this.

    ;)

  • @Diah1 god shut up

  • @safetykidvids ... then just Get Out, little troll.

  • @Diah1 it's not trolling you're just saying dumb unfunny catchphrases that have been done to death and it's annoying as fuck when people do this

  • @safetykidvids fucking told

  • My music is augmented.

  • give me the gep gun

  • HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK! IT GIVES ME CHILLS ON MY SPINE WHEN I LISTEN TO THIS.

  • this sounds more like it belongs in a military game then a cyberpunk game but the theme is still cool as hell though.

  • Now I know why Deus Ex Invisible War sucked.

The protagonist wasn't wearing sunglasses and a trenchcoat.

  • @anonysalt and his vision wasn't augmented either

  • @anonysalt Invisible War didn't sucked, it's very good game, but far from the excellence of the first Deus Ex, which is just unbeatable. Though DX2 had some stupid plots, it had some great moments. Moments that were somehow related to first DX.

  • @anonysalt

that and too small enviroments dumb AI and was way too short in general. Other than that it's a respectable game but knowing that it was a sequel to such an epic game made it look terrible

  • @anonysalt

    I agree!! :D

  • @anonysalt that game didnt suck your just to narrow minded

  • They should really remake Deus Ex 1.

  • @StevXtreme That wouldn't go well, and it's not needed anyway.

  • @StevXtreme yeah why remake an almost perfect game? -.-

  • @thamunkey To bring it up to COD-generation standards of visuals and make money off that. I myself wouldn't mind replaying it with updated graphics.

Not a graphics whore, just saying there's lots of potential money to be made (depending on how much remaking it would cost).

  • @StevXtreme Well personally I'm sick of the current console graphics so it wouldn't make the game any better atleast to me. Are you sure people would pay full price for playing the same plot and maps again in console graphics? I'm also sure that the remake could somehow never have the same atmosphere that the original dx has.

  • @thamunkey You have to understand that there are massive amounts of gamers that haven't even touched Deus Ex 1. You might have played the game, at a certain age, in a certain context and thus have that particular experience etched in your brain and think that's the "best" thing it could ever be. Well, you're wrong. There is no "best".

I'd say adapt the game to modern times in order to allow current gen gamers to experience the story and gameplay and let them have their own experiences with it.

  • @StevXtreme So you just want more players to experience a great game. Allright. But my point is that don't you think it would be better to make a new deus ex instead of remaking the original (as the remake would take many years of work if done properly). Then everybody would be able to enjoy a whole new story. (ps. I played dx1 first time this year)

  • @thamunkey Oh, a sequel would definitely be great but there are so many game studios... why not make both? :P

  • Doo dooh de doo duh, doo diii

  • @TheBaoyama

    SPOILERS

It was there because it explains that Megan worked on Denton and since Denton was in the first game and the theme is badass, the developers put the song in

  • What a shame, my vision seems to be augmented. Heh Heh.

  • I don't know, but isn't this song slightly different from the one played when you start the game? I prefer that one.

  • best game evar lololol

  • 7 people are going to be brutally murdered by JC Denton with a GEP gun!! >:D

  • What is the meaning of the Deus Ex logo? Answer please. Thanks in advance.

  • @xDarkTemplar

    Isn't it just a D and an X?

  • Comment removed

  • @xDarkTemplar the logo says "JC" the main characters name from the first title.the earth in the middle, same like with the MJ12 logo (hand arround the world)

  • Love it

  • Put on a trenchcoat and fight some conspiracies.

  • I heard this at the end of Deus EX:HR and tears of joy came to my eyes!

  • Best game ever ;_;

  • of Human Revolution, that is -_-

  • of Human Revolution, that is -_-

  • I was sooooooo happy when I heard this at the end of the credits =D

  • I hope they make a remake now....

  • I beat Deus Ex 3 for the third time, figured I'd watch the after-credits cutscene. Cutscene ends, just as I'm about to leave, it cuts to a picture of DX3's title, and...

"Wait... are they playing the theme to Deus Ex 1?!"

  • @Jinjonator1 i had the same reaction.

i was like "OMG, No Way! No Way! No Way!".

    One thing though....

after the song ended, the Nostalgia too over me.... so, i gotta ask, i am the only who cried after it? Thumbs up if you did.

  • @WillyWallace100

    WTF!!!! o.O

    Me too!!

I cried after listen this again!! :D

  • @Jinjonator1 ahahhaha exactly what happened to me xDD

  • you cant avoid bosses in DE:HR, what a shame

  • And said God let there be light, and there was Deus Ex.

  • Puuuuut on a trenchcoat, and fiiiiiight some conspiracies

Gaaaain experience and level up abilities

Will you pick rifles or computers

Don't pick swimming, it's fairly useless!

Iiiiits a shooter, and aaaaa role playing game

The leeeeevels are ugly and everyone looks the same

We're not the same Ion Storm that made Daikatana

Our games are good and on schedule!

We maaaade a sequel that no one liked

cus' we dumbed it down too much cus' we're thiiiiick!

  • @Cantido --- Dude, have you even played Human Revolution? It's pretty damn good! (My comment is withdrawn if you are referring to DX2 however - nobody can defend that pos)

  • @rayjaymor85 It's Invisible War. Yahtzee sang that song XD

  • @Cantido so thats why everyone hated invisable ware thanks for clearing that up

  • @Cantido Yahtzee, you charismatic stallion!

  • @Cantido Sountrack to the lyrics please?

  • Deus ex Machina... 'nuff said

  • On a side note: this game is fucking awesome. I mean, I unfourtanetly didn't have the chance to play it until recently, and I'm only 2 levels in, and I must say, this game is FPS PERFECTION AT IT'S FINEST. You can choose any path you want: go sneaky without killing anyone, go sneaky while killing, or just go all-out shooting. Hell, it gives you options for EVERYTHING. Everything you do has consequences later on. 10/10. This game is absolutely perfect. Skills for shooting are annoying, though.

  • what if JC and Snake went out on an epic mission to kill CoD noobs?

  • I think it's better that your playstyle is optional, that all approaches are equally valid is good game design. I chose the sneaky options because randomly murdering people seemed too inelegant for the Jensen I was trying to play, yet later on it let me murder the goons that killed my girl in a straight out killing spree born of rage. That was the story I was trying to tell, and unlike many others the game didn't put it's hand up and tell me no.

  • Augmented. Nuff said

  • sounds a lot like the original unreal game's soundtracks.

  • @nick945 Alexander Brandon composed the music for Deus Ex, as well as Unreal + RTNP, and UT99

  • I love this song! Thx

  • the download link doesn't work for me :(

  • sadly the music in Deus Ex human revolution isnt as good as the music on the original Deus Ex, but its still damn good.

  • @Arkains10 Music is excellent. In Human revolution they used the basis of the melody. So no complains from me. But you can hear the original track after the titles.

Just finished the game (Human revolution). It's like I got back 10 years ago, so much similar to original game.

  • @MrIgoryan Really? I found it to be considerably different, when you start adding up all the changes. From no melee weapons to less interactive items to gameplay style. The original made you feel like an agent by sneaking and stuck. I did the same thing for Human Revolution but it was optional. Made it feel pointless because alarming enemies didn't come at a cost (e.g. Hostages executed).

I see it being a good game in its own right, but still not much like the original Deus Ex.

  • You re-installind Deus Ex yet?

  • @Xaxustheelite I did. On my seventh play through and I am still finding something new.

  • Anyone else hear this at the end of Human Revolution and get goosebumps from it?

    FUCKING STELLAR.

  • @Doominatorx6 How long did it take you to beat it, dare I ask?

    I'll hope you played non-stop.

  • @Dunthyon I pretty much did play it non-stop haha. I finished it at about 1am two days after it came out. Doing the majority of the side missions and such, took a good 30 hours or so.

Summary, not as good as the original, but about as damn close as you can get to it.

  • Nice music but that download link is not available anymore :( is this available from anywhere else?

  • Deus Ex 3 was great but not even close to the same greatness as the original.

  • @10samm10 no you are wrong , i think that 3 is the best of em all , first was great but you cant compare them its a really good story that relates with each other its not like different games .. its all the same game same story but in different times

  • @ambh89 lolno

  • New Deus Ex 3 OST is so similar to Mass Effect that it's sad. I knew from 4 seconds that the music wasn't from brandon.

  • @geffrod What gives you that impression? Some of the dialogue wheels are similar, but outside of that and the fact that it has a cover system, there aren't many mechanical similarities.

  • @fiatfrequency Interesting that you mentioned that, but I was talking about the music, Especially during the augmentation scene in the beginning it felt very Mass Effect 2-ish. I heard people compare the mechanics to more like a combo of splinter cell/ system shock with resident evil 4 inventory.

  • @geffrod Ah, I didn't even catch the "OST" part of your comment for some reason. In that case, I'd like to point out Mass Effect and Human Revolution sound similar because both are taking heavy amounts of pointers from the Blade Runner OST. In fact, enter Blade Runner OST into the search bar, click on the first link, and you'll see what I mean.

  • @AlexCBrandon

You and Michael McCann are the best at what you do!!! Shame that Eidos didn't get you to do the sounds of Deus Ex 3 but I believe Michael will do an awesome job! Thank you for making this game have the greatest soundtrack!

  • fuck square enix

  • @TheFuckyear fuck you bitchboy, be glad they made Human Revolution and added some minor references to the first Deus Ex

  • @TheFuckyear Do you hate ID Too?

  • national anthem for my country

  • best pc game ever along with halflife

  • sounds like tango to me,no doubt the best game ever.

  • Electronic old men

  • @joshvamped Old men... are the future!

  • @Specterish *Old man thumbs up, with teeth sparkle*

  • Best game ever, just don't take swimming.

  • Dead download link is dead

  • 0:28 shits about to get real

  • You guys know what other soundtrack has similar theme and style as this piece?

  • @isstanar Why not just say it?

  • @4ingP i think he was asking a question lol

  • @nuclearblast91 So he knows everything about it except the name?

    Hm...

  • @isstanar nope. or was that an actual question?

  • Comment removed

  • @albin411

It even has the maker's logo, in the bottom left. Ion Storm - awesome developers, crappy crappy businesspeople. What a shame...

  • God this game is fantastic. Everything about it. Might have to fire it up again...

  • I missed the generation of the original Deus Ex, but my father introduced me to it. Honestly I don't understand how anyone could miss this game and call themselves a gamer.

  • @Anci3ntz0wn

Can't recall playing this in my youth either.. :(

But I was sure hooked up with Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Unreal Tournament '99 and such.

I have a 7-year older bro, I'm only 17. Without him, I would have never played on that old computer.

Nor the Commodore 64, Atari 2600 or the NES!

In any case, I still bought this game to play it today. (Even with a rig meant for Crysis graphics..)

Nostalgia and gameplay just beats graphics by far.

  • I wanted orange. It gave me lemon-lime.

  • @Emild00d I DO NOT MAKE MISTAKE OF THAT KIND

  • @Emild00d ahaha i remember this

  • @Emild00d He knows I like orange.

  • @Emild00d I never asked for this.

  • @Corewarp rly? hmm

    what a shame

  • @Emild00d YOU GOT ORANGE ALRIGHT. GUNTER:

Deus ex 3 ORANGE special GUNTER edition

  • This song makes me feel old... but in a good way.

  • BEST GAME EVER. LUCKY TO BE A GAMER IN THIS GENERATION OF THE FIRST DEUS EX. "We've had to endure much, you and I, but soon there will be order again, a new age. Aquinas spoke of the mythical City on the Hill. Soon that city will be a reality, and we will be crowned its kings. Or better than kings. GODS." ./

  • crap, why did I listen to this? now I have the reinstall the game....... still gets me everytime i hear this song.....

  • IM NOT BIG INTO BOOKS...

  • Deus Ex-men

  • @Cramoss20 Exactly, this has always reminded a lot of the 90's X-men cartoon :-). Love them both.

  • @JCDenton112788 he he he...

  • This song is augmented

  • @ultimatefinalboss1 oh my god jc a bomb

    A BOMG

  • @AlexCBrandon That's actually some pretty awesome music you got there.

  • @AlexCBrandon Deus Ex is a revolutionary game my friend, and it's music as well too. much thanks for your amazing work

  • @AlexCBrandon Holy crap!, Awesome work man; Thank you so much for providing your amazing talent to make all those games amazing. I grew up playing games like Jazz Jackrabbit and then Unreal and UT and listening to the songs today still gives me that nostalgic excited feeling from the first time I played the games.

  • @AlexCBrandon Amazing to see you are still checking back on your previous work Siren , have to say that your UT99 stuff and Deus Ex music are still amazing , there is something about your tracker music that just has that unique sound.
