  • Hi what cone is this blue fired to, (oxidation-reduction)? can you share the recipe or is it a commercial glaze.

    Thanks

    Phil

  • @Gracepots Hi Phil...Cone 5/6 and simply electric kiln fired. I have a painting background and I love to mix colors so I experiment with commercial glazes and additional fluxes...

  • Glazes that are lively with depth and complexity to keep the eye captivated. You are talented.

  • amazing work u have done there...the color effect is amazing ;)

  • Moroccan sand glaze by Laguna. Be careful, it's a runny glaze. But that is not the only glazes on the bowl ;)

  • Is cappucino a commercial glaze. Who makes it?? I use blue rutile a lot- sort of like you do. I love your results.

  • Beautiful. Oh.. geez!!! You're stuff makes me realize how much I still need to learn.

  • HEy man , I´d like your work , beaty glaze colors. But i have a question , what the name of the artist thats play the song ?

    Thanx

  • yeah I've seen two glazes in my classes like this. One was called Ox Blood Blu and the other is Blue Hars Fur. the first looks just like this the others more teal or greenish.

  • Ooo, brilliant colours! I really liked the misty blue on the plate.

  • Thanks...it's basically a blue rutile with some additives ;)

  • =D, additives, care to share?

  • Lovely effect!

  • thanks :)

  • Oh I love these!!

  • Great result! Those look amazing.

  • Thanks, I appreciate your kind words!
