@AMMW77 the pink wire in the ds 450 unlocks a race map in the ecm, adds more fuel so you dont run rich, hence cutting the pink wire when you add an exhaust or any other accessory that makes you run lean. the ds 250 does not have the pink wire

@mossow71 yamaha's suck. you should never compare anything to a can am when it comes to speed and power. They have the highest hp in every class and highest power to weight ratio in every class. When you look at any brochures they either dont compare their atv's to can am's or they compare something stupid like ground clearance. Yamaha's have the lowest hp in the sport classes and the lowest power to weight ratio in sport classes. Not sure about utility ones though. Can Am is #1 Don't mess

Garbage quad! I know 99% of you reading this are thinking I'm crazy and probably don't race at my level but this quad has the worst frame set up! I raced them and hated it. Won lots of races with it but my team had to fab up a frames because the frame on this is shit! It bends and tweaks just going for a ride not even racing. That's why I swithced to Honda. 100x better. Not as fast but I think is better if you know how to ride

To everyone talking shit on here about the can-am and that the yfz450 is better and all this, all i can say is the Magazines aren't "always" right. I myself have a moded ltr450 as u can see on my channel. I have beaten yamaha's, hondas, KTM's (yes pple the new ktm 450sx), and kawi's, but the only quad ive never beaten is a Can-am. Ive been beat twice by them which honestly i think is rider not quad but in my opinion its a nice quad. Tweak the suspension, and play with the power and ur set :)
