When I hear about people in this country being so thin skinned and offended by everything, it lets me know what a great country we are in. I was deeply offended by your video. As a mustached person I found your reference to 'stupid mustache' and the actual 'comedy' mustache in your video most upsetting. I also found your reference to 'walking on eggshells' extremely offensive and cruel to eggs and their shells. Please try to be more considerate towards mustaches and their eggs in future.

I agree with everyone here, Steve. I live in a "town" in LA (that's Lower Alabama) with one red light. So far, I know 2 people that saw your woodworking videos and actually went out and got a shop started. I love to watch new woodworkers get so excited about making a coaster or something simple like that. Now there ain't no slowin 'em down! It sounded like a bad attempt at a "Gone With The Wind" type movie southern plantation owner accent. But I find all of your videos entertaining and will continue to watch anything you do. If someone got offended by that video then they must not have any self-esteem among other issues. And probably haven't watched your other videos. I'm from the south and I wasn't offended by your previous video at all. However it was probably the worst attempt at a southern drawl that I've ever heard. It sounded like a bad attempt at a "Gone With The Wind" type movie southern plantation owner accent. But I find all of your videos entertaining and will continue to watch anything you do. Keep them coming Steve.

Seriously, that is why I watch ya, not only do you have some great ideas, but you are also real....not only in your approach to the hobby, but to your humor etc. Please, don't water down yourself and become so "PC" that you don't want to "Offend" anyone, and as a result become boring.
Being offensive and being offended is part of life, who says that something as subjective as "offensive behavior" shouldn't be anyhow.

If someone got offended by that video then they must not have any self-esteem among other issues. And probably haven't watched your other videos. You weren't saying people from the south are dumb, just trying to put out entertaining videos. Its not your fault they are ashamed they are from a trailer park. I'm born and raised in the south. I now live in Canada, people always do just as bad an impression when they try to copy my southern drawl.

Some Southern accents make a Ph.D. sound dumb. Others sound hoity toity. New England accents are just silly, hey guys, get Vanna White to sell you an 'R'! New York city and New Jersey accents come in different levels like Southern accents. If a person doesn't want to feel ashamed of the way they speak, they should take diction lessons instead of getting offended. Steve, if you want to offend a group and not worry about a massive outcry, I suggest Norwegians. There are very few of us (hell, our entire country has less people than NYC), and we're pretty easy going. And hey, even if we weren't easy going, what's the worst we are going to do, give the Nobel Peace Prize to someone who hasn't earned it yet?
